Pretty awesome scoring Ico last week and Shadow of the Colossus this week on PlayStation Plus. I played these on PS2 but have been wanting to revisit 'em in HD for a while now.

I remember at E3 back in 2011 at the Sony conference when they would still pull back the stage afterwards and have a bunch of demo stations on the floor while a concert was going. Me and Erren went all over the place trying to find the ICO and SotC HD station. It was amazing seeing that version of the game up close for the very first time.

I just finished the 4th one too. Took me a while to figure out what to do. I kept trying to grab onto its hind legs. I've found 5 save shrines so far, one was from exploring off the beaten path (Also had a tree with fruits next to it.) Shiny tail lizards are fun to hunt, too bad the difference is barely noticeable.

I love it. It's fun to explore, finding trees for fruit and save shrines. I've been hunting 1 lizard per save shrine so far, so I have 11 tails right now, which actually does add up to a nice boost in stamina. No problem with the controls so far, been able to defeat the Colossi within 10~ minutes. I started ICO too, Made it to the 4th or 5th save couch. I like it too, though not having to use R1 to grab ledges threw me off for a few minutes when I played SotC again.

Beat the 12th, he was by far the hardest one for me personally. They are all challenging at first when you don't know where the sigils on them are. On another note, while I was heading towards his location, I explore a bit and found these HUGE ruins that I couldn't enter, at G1 on the map. I think it's a colossus location but damn that was mind blowiing to see.

It's more than what I hoped for. For my next playthrough I plan on exploring wherever I want, instead of exploring while on the path tothe next colossus. I'm going to try to go all 16 time attacks first so I have the lizard/fruit map. Once I beat it enough to get to the secret garden and stuff, i'll start hard mode.

I did a few time attacks, I could not get the 11th one for the life of me. I can get him to fall with no problem, but I assume I need to land on him so I can stab sooner to make it in time. He shakes Wander too much, which I dont remember having a problem with before...

I've never played the game, is there any incentive for doing the time attacks? I know that there's stuff to increase your health or stamina, but you don't get that from time attacks. I also know that you don't really get much of anything besides your sword, bow, arrows, and Agro.
