As the title suggest, this is the spoiler thread for KINGSGLAIVE: FINAL FANTASY XV movie. You can freely talk about them in this thread without using the spoiler tag.
If anyone reading this doesn´t want spoilers....what´re you doing here in the first place?
You´ve been warned.

Someone on Twitter DM'd me the spoilers that they were sent.

CAUTION; DO NOT READ FURTHER IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SPOILED!

• Diamond weapon makes an appearance
• There's additional footage after the ending credits. Famitsu apparently already hinted at it.
• Crowe dies toward the beginning of the film
• The Kingsglaive is filled with traitors
• Niflheim orchestrates everything, and everyone in Lucis is merely played like a pawn to get the barrier down for a Niflheim invasion
• Glauca is Drautos
• To help Luna escape Insomnia, Regis and Nyx stay behind
• Regis is killed by Glauca/Drautos
• Upon Regis's death, the Lucian wall falls, and the Kingsglaive are no longer able to use their magic. They become ordinary folk.
• Nyx puts on the Ring of the Lucii and is able to use the power bestowed upon royalty to fight against Glauca.
• However, the Ring of the Lucii is only effective until dawn; when dawn breaks, the powers that it grants its wearer fade, and the life of the wearer is taken

Hmm... But how does Luna get the ring then?

If there was any doubt, Ravus is indeed the hooded man, and his face looks kind of like Sephiroth's.

Speaking of "Emerald Weapon", should we take that as factual evidence of FFXV & FFVII being in the same universe:woot:?

I can totally see him being the final villain. As I had said in the other (non-spoiler) thread, I'm very curious as to who the final boss is. Having the actual villain show up later in the game replacing the old one is basically a FF staple at this point (I think Ardyn is going to ultimately be an ally, as grey as he might be as a character. And I can't see Iedolas lasting too long).

FF needs another big charismatic villain. It's been a while since we last had a truly worthy one on Kafka, Sephirot (as overrated as he might be) or Kuja's level imo (liked X's approach despite not loving the game and Vayne was cool I guess, but yeah).

I really like his design, although I hope his face is more original, which I guess it's bound to happen as the KG version is based in a real model/actor. Wonder how much of his role has changed if it has...

What exactly that means?
It means that I didn't express myself correctly and was about to edit it lol.

I meant more stylized, something less realistic that would blend in the game better (not truly a problem though, as I wish Luna and Nix' faces were used in the game and they're in the same style). Don't know why I even used "original" :/

Actually, now that I look more closely to it, I like it, especially how he looks in the left. In the one in the right he looked to me more generic that I'd want in a FF game, something that would better fit a Western-based game (which is fine by me, as I can't longer stand weird Anime hair and features, but I know I'm not the majority at all).

OK, so I have some questions.

In the early impressions we got of the movie (not the 4chan leak), I remember reading that the movie will explain the three creatures from the Dawn trailer/ NA cover. Also, there was a lot of talking about FFVII weapons being on Nifelheim side. The spoilers here (that's pretty much confirmed atm) don't mention them at all. Were those impressions fake?

Also Ravus is totally getting his eyes burned by the ring, since he was blind at E3 2013 trailer and all. The Famitsu article implying a change in his appearance in the game also.

Diamond Weapon's confirmed.
5 colossi guard Lucis. They are separate from the magic barrier but are kind of like their own barrier. They're probably the specters that we see in Dawn.

When Ravus tries to put the Ring on, the spirits of the former kings that reside in the Ring reject and punish him, so you're probably right.

the specters in the Dawn trailer looks more like the three giant beings we see in the boxart, I think the colossi guards are the reapers depicted in the Myth/Imsomnia destroyed painting.
