This is what I could dissect from the footage:

  1. Ignis main gameplay style would be a very agresive dps role.
  2. The above is emphasied by his dmg multiplier bar which increase the more hit he does.
  3. His normal attacks can be imbued with elemetal properties but, they don't seen to change how Ignis plays but rather they just seen to modify his dmg output.
  4. He has multi target spells, they only seen to do 2 times more dmg than his normal hits. They also don't seen to consume his MP.

multiple endings confirmed, seems like this will be the meatiest dlc.

also one scene of the trailer confirms a previous leak
Yeah, holy frick, I'm excited for Episode Ignis more than I've been, looks like this will be the new version of the E3 2013 Altissia segment, I'm happy about that a lot.

Edit:

I keep misspelling due to my excitement. Deep down, I've wanted the Altissia invasion, and now it's here.

this one, seems he's an insider that mixed some truth with a lot of bullshit

or he guessed right lol
Perhaps both, I'm excited for Ravus, Nifilheim's invasion upon Altissia, fighting alongside Ravus, Episode Ignis' story, and especially traversing Altissia in the state that it's in here, I'm still thinking abou tit even now, and I'm excited it's happening, this looks similar to the E3 2013 version of the segment.

The OST is incredible. Having guest composers is the smartest thing Square-Enix has done in recent years. They should use all the talent at their disposable for their games when possible.
Definetely a practice I'd like Square to keep pushing for future games.

So so far all the composers involved in FFXV are:

  • Yoko Shimomura (FFXV, Kingsglaive)
  • Tetsuya Shibata (FFXV, EP Gladiolus)
  • Yoshino Aoki (FFXV)
  • Yoshitaka Suzuki (FFXV, EP Prompto)
  • Naoshi Mizuta (EP Promto guess composer)
  • Keiichi Okabe (EP Gladiolus guess composer)
  • Yasunori Mitsuda (EP Ignis guess composer)
  • Nobuo Uematsu (FFXV: Comrades guess composer)
A pretty meaty list. Going by the previous EP DLCs, Comrades and EP Ignis should probably have another artist doing the rest of the OST.

Not going to lie, I have been really conflicted on rather or not I like FFXV's soundtrack more or FFVIII's. FFXV may just pull out ahead by the end of 2018 for me.

I wonder how this will playout, cause this can't be anything drastic that contradicts canon.
Well. There is one possible way, at least as i can see it. We do not know what happens with world after noct's saving it. So, Ardyn could come with some masterpiece plan and make cliffhanger. But i dont think they will go that road.
