Story wise, according to Tabata, the Full game will take 40 hours to complete!

http://gematsu.com/2014/09/dengeki-final-fantasy-xv-type-0-hd-tgs-2014-interview

I’m assuming that the actual game will take about 40 hours to clear, so comparing it in simple terms, the demo is about 1/40th of the actual game’s content. (Laughs)

FFXV is confirmed to have English VA! WOOT!

By the way, Type-0 HD is releasing worldwide, but the FFXV demo in Japan will have Japanese voice acting and English voice acting in the overseas versions.

- enemies can attack you while you're driving
- They camp along the way, stay at hotels, it adheres to the way the gameplay gives the sensation of going on a road trip.
- in order to obtain a strong weapon, you can venture into the dungeon that has monsters stronger than the ones above ground.

Perfect length. Also, some interesting points about the demo and car:

- They camp along the way, stay at hotels, it adheres to the way the gameplay gives the sensation of going on a road trip.

Wonder how much side content there is? Final Fantasy XIII being devoid of content hurt the game greatly for me so hopefully Final Fantasy XV doesn't follow.

In this Interview, he doesn't mention anything about only pressing 1 button ( like in other interviews). He only says, it's a simpler version of Type-0.

Typo-0 gameplay/control mechanics are everywhere. This one button mumbo jumbo has to have some secret twist to make it enjoyable, he himself said:

"If we don't do something that people think is amazing, it's meaningless," Tabata said. "If we don't do something that's challenging, it's also meaningless."

That's why I think there is more to this than a " press of a button" :p.

I just think if you use the basic control scheme, its simpler.

Some of the things he says is a little contradicting, but maybe that's because he wants to expand on it and can't.

Also, I may be reading wrong... but did he confirm dual audio?

I hope that's not the case! I want the demo to even have dual audio, lol. But I can take it if the full game has it.

I mean, they're doing it for Type-0.

Perfect. Such side missions are essential to the game.

40 hours? Well that's long. Not as long as other games, but then again, I'd rather play those sweet 20 hours of FFVI than the 50+ it took me to beat Star Ocean 4. Though I enjoyed Persona 4 all the way through, and that was a 60+ hours game.

40 hrs of story or 40 hrs including sidequests, exploration, and story? Personally since almost never get new games I'd like a game 50 to 70 hours. In Grandia I never spent time training for levels but I still got 100 hrs out of the game.

Pretty sure story. Side content depends on the player.

For example, he said if you only do the story in the demo, you'd complete it in an hour. But doing the side stuff makes it 3-4 hours.
