Final Fantasy Type-0 General Thread

I figured there should be one since it's coming out soon (and some people already have it!). And it's better if it has its own thread instead of discussing everything in the XV thread.

Perhaps we can get it stickied too?

Anyway, for those who already have it, how are you enjoying it so far? Impressions/favorite parts? (You all better use spoiler tags correctly. I've managed not to spoil this game for like 3 years and I'm not mucking it up now, lol.)

Incoming spoiler alert, you have been warned..

So there is a Type-1 teaser, the vid and the rest I have to say will be added into spoiler tags.

So with this I have been thinking on how the Type series should be handled, some say this guy looks like Ace, which I cannot deny. The setting looks like feudal Japan though. Would it be best to make a new universe or continue from Type-0. My first thought was to make a new universe each time, but then I realized that's what the main series does. So it might be good to have the Type series continue in the same universe?

I'm on the edge of getting the platinum of this game.. It was very easy overall, with just 2 missable ones.
3 trophies left which I have problems with, will post him here in case anyone could know the reason.

A Lonely Battle - Earned the "A Lonely Battle" bonus. (I don't know what I'm suppose to do to earn it.)
Mortal Validation - Collected 25 Knowing Tags. (I HAVE collected them, but for some reason I didn't get the trophy, maybe cause I done it with 2 playthroughs?)
The Great Liberator - Liberated and visited all cities in the Dominion of Rubrum. (There's only 3 cities in Rubrum, and I'm positive that I've visited them all, but no trophy for some reason.)

If anyone can help me I'll be very grateful.

Tabata has revealed a concept art for the Type-0 sequel:

He also stated that the development started shortly after Type-0 was finished, but was put on hold after he moved to direct FFXV.

And what are your thoughts on Type-0, guys? I know it's been pretty much overshadowed by FFXV demo, but it's still surprising that there are almost no opinions about it here.

Yeah, I figured that was the case. A concept long in the making but not set in stone yet because of FFXV. If it happens, it'll probably be for PS4 with Tabata directing it and it's going to be a while.

Do you get any benefits from playing type-0 on the highest difficulty setting? ( items, weapons, trophies etc. ?)

Gold outfits are probably unknown at this time.

No difficulty-related trophies. I hear you get higher-tier phantomas if you play on Agito. Not sure about other items, but I would assume you'd also get more EXP.

Alrighty, here's how you get the three costume sets:

Summer: 30 killsights with each character, then complete any mission
Formal: Complete a sidequest in Chapter 7, part 2 which requires you to have scored a total of 30,000SPP (60,000 in the PSP version)
Instructor Uniform (new gold outfits): Finish every mission on Finis difficulty.

Maybe I'll try a lower difficulty and see if other things carry over. So far, I can confirm levels, event scenes done during "break time," and items (including uniforms) carry over.

I just checked the airship landing area at the beginning of Chapter 2. The airship you acquire in Chapter 7 is not there, but you can still use the airship in NG+ to travel across the world map, for some reason.
