I believe it is but photoshopped I see this type of stuff from XIV from the Japanese player base a lot. They like to photoshop screenshots. This looks similar to that style with the highlights.

It's a really nice touch and a great callback. My understanding is that this hanging arm is a sign of a samurai with no master, and the description of the picture described the knot as a similar symbol. Really cool stuff. Anyone else like that the daytime "monsters" feel like realistic animals while the nighttime monsters seem to have a theme of being frightening and unnatural? This Plague of the Stars thing is shaping up to be awesomely sinister.

Dear gawd... Just hit me that Luna is freaking gorgeous. That white dress is gripping her body quite well and she does have a pretty face. There's a image earlier in this thread of her and that black haired woman around a bunch of knights. Can someone please post a clear image of that or something? That black haired woman is crazy pretty too. Sorry if I sound like a perv or something. I'm just liking the designs :p And yeah, I love Cidney's design too.

Is the next major press reveal for XV going to be at Jump Festa or at the special event planned for next year? I cannot recall if Square-Enix mentioned they would be present at both or just one of the two.
