I've been watching these two trailers a lot. In contrast, I've only watched the Final Fantasy XV trailer a couple of times. I think the reason for this is because the trailers are done right. The music, the build up, mechs, the large over world... It's great! It's a world I want to explore.

So who is looking forward to it?

Well, this game is one of the many reasons I decided I want to pick up a Wii U. Monster Hunter, the future of Legend of Zelda, and Bayonetta 2 are among the others, but I really like the look of this game. Despite technically being a little behind in the graphics department, I've found this game to be pretty nice looking. It appears to have a heavily High Sci-Fantasy setting, which are absolutely my jam, and the battle system appears to be a smooth evolution of that of Xenoblade. I worry a little about whether it'll come to the west (I've been burned a lot with localizations), but I'd say it looks like it could be a pretty solid experience.

I'm even excited for the mechs, and I have a burning, supernova-adjacent hatred for mech-related games and mechanics.

I'm not very excited for the mechs, but it looks very similar to Xenoblade with a bigger world and HD graphics; so I couldn't possibly ask for more. Well, maybe British VA again!

Same, I'm not sure about the mechs thing. I don't think robots ever really interested me much. British VA would be nice again but would still need an upgrade from the ones from Xenoblade. The Last Story's VAs were a lot better for the most part.

Again, I've been burned before. So in this instance I'm taking an "I'll believe it when I'm holding it" stance. In regards to voice acting, I honestly much preferred the Xenoblade cast. I think they shared a good number of the actors between them, but most of the main party in Last Story was really annoying to me. Also while I enjoyed the usage of British actors (that's a pretty unique usage), I think the recording quality was a little low and in general the voice actors were a little inexperienced. I am hoping that if they bring back some of the cast for X, they will have improved from last time.

If this game has character creation/customization, I will likely be hooked and not leave my room for a good long while.

Regarding the VAs from TLS, the ones I looked up were TV actors. Zael's VA actually was surprisingly not that good, considering he was an actor in a British soap from years ago. But personally, I was extremely happy that TLS used UK accents not so commonly heard in video games, such as Syrenne, who has a Manchester accent (and was another TV actress). I'm tired of all the typical London English and Cockney accents we get, so it was refreshing to hear a good old Manc accent for once. Thinking back, some of TLS's VAs were still not that good, but the diversity was what won me over. It's for this reason I love that Drippy in Ni no Kuni has a Welsh VA.

Point is, if this X game uses more typical posh London VAs like in Xenoblade then it's only going to be disappointing for me. If you're going British, I need some diversity!

Is that Shulk? The face at the end of the first teaser, and the back of the guy walking from the second?

This might suprise you but if this is an mmo, I am out.

If its multiplayer optional with a full single player rpg campaign, I am back in
Ditto.

In the same boat as you but likely won't buy on release. I will probably jump in at the end of the Wii U lifecycle (which may come sooner than later) and then *boom* instant library of games.

So there is a Nintendo Direct tomorrow and Soraya Saga retweeted it.

Last time she retweeted a Nintendo Direct, they showed footage of the game.

It's possible we may get new footage of the game tomorrow. So just a heads up.

If this were to be a Square Enix tease, I'd expect a mobile game. So let's hope it's not, I'm dying to see footage of the game.

Welp. All aboard the hype train. And hopefully we get a proper name for the game. X is one of those hard-to-google monikers.

The perfect Nintendo Direct will be one that prioritises X, as well as finally giving us a glimpse of that bit of vapour FE X SMT, a new Metroid, more Bayonetta 2, hints of new 3DS Fire Emblem and Zelda, Dragon Quest VII for western release, and of course a European release date of SMT IV.

Bayonetta 2 Producer Yusuke Hashimoto retweeted the Nintendo Direct as well as JP Kellams.

This ND covers and focuses on Spring 2014 games for both Wii U and 3DS. But that doesn't mean everything they show will be Spring 2014 titles.
