Promto sounds straight out of a cartoon. I thought I could tolerate it but I find it a bit grating.

I also have a problem with the lip-sync in those dialogue scenes. It's terrible, and makes the scenes in question look quite bad.

Also, Noctis looks like a clown in those casual clothes. Maybe the cap doesn't fit his super spiky hair.

I usually avoid long gameplay videos and spoilers so i can discover it all for myself but with the delay happening i gave in. I'm very glad i did, i absolutely loved what i saw. The world looks fantastic and i think the characters look to be generally likeable. The only negative was some performance issues, but i trust most of these will be ironed out come November.

This is the first time i've felt the game feels complete and truly real, whereas before all i could go off were the trailers, Episode Duscae and the Platinum Demo. My hype for this game is maintained. Now to look forward to the remaining Brotherhood episodes and Kingsglaive at the end of this month!

Very few games or stories in general can pull off this kind of opening, I agree. Still, should at least be interesting to see how it leads up to it.

Also, Noctis with a beard, not working for me. :p Neither is the hairstyle.

When they drove into Lestallum or whatever it's called(the huge town to meet Iris)the framerate was so bad that it caused the worst stuttering I have ever saw in a game.

I couldn't play it in that state.
There are a lot of low res textures but the bother me little.
The foliage(specifically the small tufts of grass)looks quite cheap but I can let it slide.
The game has some texture pop-in issues.
Npc pop-in is quite bad.
In some scenes like the one where they meet Ardyn near the beach look very 'flat's with poor lighting.

But I can forgive moat of the graphical shortcomings. Overall it looks like a beautiful game. Just need a few months polishing is all :D

I actually prefer his older look. Sasukes a cool design and all but beard make things 100 percent cooler. It's just a fact of life really ;)

Definitely preferred the (somewhat farfetched) rumor that Noctis would have
Regis's OG design as "old-Noctis" oh well, design-wise every redesign has been utterly disappointing to me..I really don't care anymore and just want to play the game as I do hope it will still be fun

Unless they decide to make a "Versus" DLC pack, I don't think it'll happen.

My god, its like you are my doppleganger except you post more than me, and joined here after me. When did you try to get into NeoGAF? I have been waiting on my account activation there since I believe April of 2015 (or is it 2014?) I can't remember anymore lol! I am greatful this place exists though, since there is much crossover from GAF, and I wanted to join there specifically to chat about XV.. I think at this point (even with the 2 mo delay) XV will be out before GAF approves me lol! I hope you don't share the same fate.

Previously, we were saying that it was fake since he left out a few characters entirely, as well a a few other events that we knew about from interviews.

You can make a synopsis for any story and make it sound terrible. For me though, I'm always going to look for those key moments in the story now that I know about them when I play the game, and that's a situation you never want to be in.

I am also significantly more handsome :p lol

I just put it in like a few weeks ago. I didn't realize it'd take that long. They should get on it, though. That place needs some new blood to combat the Hive mind.

I'm the only one who is amazed to see that we can use a chainsaw as a weapon (well more like a circular saw but it's still the same right).
For the footage I think it was around 41:43 in the video.

Eh, I saw it too. Wasn't as noteworthy to me as the dirt on the clothes was.

I'm quieter and more calculating and contemplative in my revenge instead of just vapidly brooding and staring at the audience, also my hair is slightly more blue-grey and I'm sitting on a baddass chair/throne, you seem to be simply a head floating in the air... I mean seriously, where is your body? :confused:
