Financially the FFXV Universe is a success, so it's not a loss for them to continue working on the game for a while longer especially since the demand is extremely high.

seems the first story missions will happen a bit after noctis vanishes, since iris is young here... can't wait to get to the tentht year.

I wonder if we'll see Gladio, Ignis and Prompto? I'd like to see what they got up to during that time.
Glad the see we get to see the other characters too.
Even though it's multiplayer, I wonder if I can just log in and play it solo just to experience the story? The gameplay looks great. Really liking the protect spell.

For the first time, Final Fantasy XV players will be able to create their own character and join up with three other friends to take on epic quests and battles in the game%u2019s first and only online multiplayer expansion titled %u201CComrades.%u201D Starting October 31, players will set foot as a survivor from Kingsglaive to find out more about the disappearance of Noctis after the events in Chapter 13 from the main game.
Set in a world engulfed by darkness, the expansion casts players as a member of the Kingsglaive, with powers and unique abilities invoked from various Lucian kings, who join forces to bring the Light back to the kingdom of Lucis. Other members of Noctis's crew including Gladiolus, Prompto and Ignis will be made playable in future game updates.
As members of Kingsglaive, players equip royal sigils that grant special powers from the Lucian bloodline. Players can then strategize and create a balanced team to take on a variety of quests. In addition to multiplayer quests, single player quests are also available for players to enhance their characters

To me this totally sounds like this will be updated repeatedly in order for us to see the full story. I have a feeling we are only going to get part of it when it releases, with support lasting a few months or so in terms of adding new content per update.

I'd imagine there would be a lot to cover in comrades and they're only giving us the first part now as you said.
I'm guessing there are gonna be micro transactions so they can make money from this and keep renewed interest with items, weapons and outfits.

TGS already begun, it'll run till 23th i think (same day of the ATR).

PC might up the number to 8m, i guess if FFXV releases on switch it can make it to 10m copies sold (tabata's dream number).

Not only is it Angelgard, it's Angelgard being circled by those monsters from the early trailers that we never got to fight in the game itself. I wonder if they'll finally be available to fight...
I wasn't intending on doing this, but... I'm going to need to get PS+ access so I can play this expansion. >_>; I guess if I wait until everything is released, I won't have to pay that much.
