Final Fantasy XV - General News Thread

Maybe i wasn't clear, sorry. They'd have to fix Ravus and Luna's models in the movie. That is key and first priority. They should honestly do it anyway, regardless if they added scene or not.

What I was trying to get at was sprinkling important events/scenes from the movie to the game as you find out about them. Noctis doesn't know Luna has the ring until after Chapter 9. Imagine him receiving the ring, then in comes a 5 minute CG sequence showing you how she even got the ring in the first place.

Also, the first 4 minutes of Kingsglaive are almost vital to understanding the main conflict if you've never kept up with the game's lore. Its silly to me how much of it was left out of the main game. Kingsgaive's bearing on the main story is extremely important, even if it is through the eyes of a different character.

Im also not saying add in the entire 2 hours of cutscenes into the game, but rather, make use of the decent CG (maybe 30-45 minutes of it sprinkled throughout the 25 hour main story) just to tell the story thats needed.
Luna's, Iedolas's and Ravus's characterization, The Treaty Signing, Regis's death, Drautos's betrayal, and Nyx's sacrifice are all really important parts of the main games story, even if the last 2 do not have a major effect on the story, they are the reason Luna got the ring in the first place.

Yeah, and it's a shame that Glauca wasn't in the main game, but oh well, I do have faith that the parts of the story I felt were lacking could get added in at some point, and at least we have Cerberus.

it implies solheim had advanced technology to defy the gods, i posted a similar explanation to its existence, would be cool if i was right lol.

he was def used against the gods if that's true, and maybe he ended up in insomnia bc he tracked astral activity there.

Yeah, and I like that Solheim was an advanced nation, I'm also very much into ancient lore, and Solheim and everything related to it intrigues me even to this day, and makes me curious to learn more about it. You could say that's where it all started, especially since Niflheim got it's Magitek from Solheim thanks to Ardyn.

That's very interesting, especially the 'unused lines' part, especially the Replica Regalia. But, as always, I have my expectations down low.

Yeah, I'm happy with what the data-mine had shown, especially the bits about the keys needed to get around in Insomnia, the reports about Omega, and the Replica Regalia, and the new Comrades content but I feel bad for BD2, knowing the stuff got leaked a few days or so early through their own benchmark of all things.

Woah there was a lot of stuff there, and the datamine is correct so there is a whole bunch of stuff being added. I like the sound of all the stuff the dataminer mentioned just except the ch10 sidequest being so simple, still wonder why the ch10 sidequest is just some chocobo photo thing then.
