The Sigils in Comrades have always felt like they were essentially deciding your job class in a way.
For what it's worth, I can say some of the skills on the JP side do use classic skill names, I just thought it was interesting as it seems that it may have been more clear about it.

It's probably just nostalgia that's bugging me on the lack of familiar ability names, and titles.

I haven't touched XV in a while. That said, I may or may not be getting my hands on the PC release. I'm interested to see what's possible with modding. Speaking of Comrades, seeing the magic in the latest trailer it seems like the Glaives have more control of magic compared to Noctis and the gang.

I think that is actually in line with the Lore. Noctis to me seems like fore most a Jack-of-all-trades weapon user, barely skillful at magic (cause he's lazy lol). While Kingsglaives train heavily to be skilled in a particular weapon and the magic they use.

OG said something about likely needing to repack content, and about doing things in-memory. I think he doesn't have the patience to sit down and do it in all honesty.

He did say something along the lines of, at least it doesn't crash if you do some simple swaps but beyond a few things it's leading to problems currently.

I think the expanded magic and the like is cool, though I'm excited for the customization content.

Lol true. Maybe when they (hopefully) rebalance the game towards the end, a refined magic system is something they look into. It would be the next significant thing they could do the main game's gameplay aside from character swapping.

Sigh...Some of you guys went out of control with those leaks. You're hyping yourself too much, keep repeating some things over and over, and demanding some impossible things from BD2. Calm down, for your own good.

Well, aren't VII remake going to be released in parts anyway? Ugh, are they even going to release physical copies? I would be happier if XV was too, instead of having DLCs all the time :/
Funny enough back then in 2013 when people thought XV was going to release with multiple installments almost eveyone hated the idea.

Were you talking about the Royal Pack content that was hidden in the benchmark data? I'm just wondering, but I do have my expectations at low at all times.

Well, FFXV is going to use the Steam workshop, so it can't be that unintuitive. We'll see, I guess!

But going by how extensively you've been posting about it, you the inpression of being quite hyped for that.
I know, I will say I am excited, but at the same time, even with that excitement, I also have my doubts mixed in as well, as cool as this stuff is and all, it could all lead down to disappointment if everything isn't as it seems. It is hard for me to describe exactly, though. But, I always try to have a leveled-head when it comes to these things, and the data-mine was a little too much for me to handle, so sorry for that.

Very true, it would've been nice had we gotten some information regarding modding means given they've been using that as one key promotional point for the Windows Edition.

That's probably the main thing I'm curious about.

Trust me, its more speculation than want or need, at least on my end. I've put the idea to rest that this game would ever be as perfect as I want it.

As for the Royal Edition leaks, A TON of it has data backing with GOTY scripts behind every one of them (meaning they were added specifically for the royal edition and not some old garbage data left by the devs). And I can personally verify some of those myself. Yes, its best to keep expectations in check, but its okay to feel a little excited about something we all love in common.

For what its worth, the game does in fact get better every month, little by little. And big DLC events like this do wonders for it.

Yes, it is. And most of you guys overhyped it. Speculation is good, but really, for your own sake, keep mind clear. Some of you went off with posts an they sounded like demand to BD2, that they must do that or that and that, cause like that it will have more sense an etc. Im sure i dont need to give examples and you all know.
Image if most of those data wont be in March update and all dreams, speculations will go in vain. You know what you will feel.
P.S. No offence guys, its all interesting to read, but try to no repeat yourself so often. *Peace*

Yeah it’s odd when the Glaives cast more magic and have a job system closely tied to the Kings of Lucis compared to Noctis and co.

That should definitely be for Noctis not them...

The job class via Sigils from a specific King would’ve beefed up the battle system in the main Game compared to what we got now.

Astral sphere is nice but Royal Sigil related seems more appropriate.

They got it backwards this time.

I play the main game way more than Comrades so it sucks that all this magic and combat additions are in that and not the main game.

It’s a waste of you ask me.

Add that into the main game please Square.

I understand what you're saying, and I did explain why I went crazy about it in a reply to @Lulcielid I'll take what the March update will provide, even if it's not the stuff, I'll try to control myself better.

Like getting the ability to play the bros in the main game, I can totally see at least some of the magic coming over from Comrades. It was on the June poll, so it' on their minds probably
