Hey folks! So, just like I did my 'Ask me anything' about my several hours of hands on time with the full version of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, I'm currently busying myself with an upcoming RPG - Square Enix's Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, being published in the West by Nintendo.

I know the demo is out, but I've been playing the full, final game for a bit over a week now -- so ask me anything!

To start off, a fun tidbit - I absolutely love the text the game surfaces when you first boot it, giving advice about difficulty levels:
You can adjust difficulty and the encounter rate whenever you like. You can take advantage of that to make your life a lot easier, sure. But the easy life won't prepare you for the challenges you must face one day. Be sure you won't regret your choices when the time comes.

Are the majority of spells unique in name and design or do they simply follow the Final Fantasy iterations faithfully?

Is there a particular system for the character's growth(Sphere grid, Junction system, etc)?

Is there more than just the four characters?

I'll think of more.

Could you talk a bit about dungeons and towns design? like how many areas/shops in towns?
Is it similar to PS1 FF era with many sections, interiors and side areas?

Just a note -- I'm still ploughing through this, but I'll answer these questions and any others posted tomorrow!

Long story short: I'm loving the game. Very traditional FF style with some modern twists. Utterly beautiful throughout.
