Microsoft's Press Conference will be starting soon....
Over now. A few impressive things, but the whole conference was a bit meh. Lacked punch.
Ok Microsoft wasn't so impresive, retrocompatibility was nice though.
Backwards Compatibility of playing Xbox 360 games on Xbox One is literally a big fuck you to Sony.
Sony has it so complicated with how players can play PSOne/PS2 classics like you can only play certain classics on certain titles and streaming games isn't becoming the norm either. Also, playing some existing classics on the PS4 will result some into rebuying it when they already have it as a physical disc or on another PlayStation system.
Sony needs to find a way to get backwards compatibility on their PS4 and fast.
That Kojima-directed Metal Gear Solid V trailer that Geoff debuted was so good.
Do yourself a favor and watch it.
I thought it (MGSV trailer)would premier in Sony's conference.
MS was pretty good, although they fired all their shots right at the beginning. The new controller looks nice and having backwards compatibility for 360 games is a bit of progress (although I would probably buy a 360 with the proper games instead) and in spite of its lack of gameplay during the presentation, ReCore has me intrigued.
It was okay, think Sony can do better than this, no big surprises here. Also curious how backwards compatibility is going to work out and if mods are supported for more than Fallout 4
From EA the only noticeable thing was that Old Republic expansion.
EA's Press Conference is the definition of boredom.... And sports.
Looking at the timetables, i may not be able to see Ubissoft conferences. I predict the new Assasin's Creed will be there (TY captain obvious).
So far only Microsoft has shown new IPs (not sure if counting EA or not) so i can give credits to them.
The last two conferences are Nintendo and Square Enix. Looking forward to them!
Nintendo will maybe not be as strong as Sony, but at least we will get to see few to no titles that aren't coming out until 2016/2017
