According to Square Enix Germany's response to a tweet from @Infest, there'll be a special XV-related event on Wednesday (August 5). Schedule details will be announced within one week or so.

Is it the ATR? A special appearance by a certain someone (such as Noctis's Japanese voice actor)? Can't wait to find out!
Prompto's Japanese voice actor, Tetsuya Kakihara, was born here in Germany and speaks German fluently, so he would be a better fit for something like that at gamescom.

If E3 2013 trailer is any indication, swimming is already in the game, in some unspecify shape or form.
Tabata talked about this in an interview, basically mentioning how they're working to keep the Leviathan sequence in the game but stated how difficult it is to animate.

I think he implied not having swimming + underwater battles be in the final game initially but possibly being patched in later due to the how arduous a task it is.

Would be pretty cool if Nomura showed up too.
He is still credited in the game for base story. And In the episode duscae demo you see his name in the new game menu on the bottom credited as character designer (funny that hes the only name there). He is one the most important people who is involved in this game so it would be nice to see him talk about it again.

Yup, a different YouTuber playing ED 2.0 on stage from Wednesday to Sunday, plus 30-90min Developer Q&A every day from Thursday to Saturday and Cosplay Show on Friday and Saturday.
Is it confirmed they are playing Duscae?

Just to clear something up: the LPs with online gaming personalities are not being streamed. They're exclusive presentations for attendees only.
Yeah, it seems more like random entertainment aimed at the attendees at the conference, a place to just kill time perhaps... but still. A more interesting event would be to just set them up with a closed off, in-game arena and give them magic + some additional move sets to show off to the crowd to draw up actual hype for the game. As it stands Duscae 2.0 is plenty old and I'm sure most of seen it. Even if these folks are going to show off high-level mastery of what's there currently it doesn't merit close to 20 sessions for it.

I know Tabata wants to embrace western gamers, but I hope the 'focus' on Let's Play type moments is one focus better left unfulfilled (in the XIII universe sense).

Considering we can completely ignore the LPs since they won't be streamed anyway and are just for show floor attendees.

This is all the actual new content we will get.

Wednesday August 5th
  • 4:00pm - 6:00pm = FFXV Stage show with unspecified content
  • 6:00pm - 7:00~pm = FFXV Active Time Report livestream
Thursday August 6th
  • 3:00pm - 4:30pm = FFXV Q&A session with the Development team
Friday August 7th
  • 9:30am - 11:30am = FFXV Stage show with unspecified content
  • 3:00pm - 3:30pm = FFXV Q&A session with the Development team
  • 3:30pm - 5:30pm = FFXV Cosplay event
  • 5:30pm - 7:00pm = FFXV Stage show with unspecified content
  • 7:00am - 8:00~pm = FFXV Stage show with unspecified content
Saturday August 8th
  • 3:00pm - 3:30pm = FFXV Q&A session with the Development team
  • 3:30pm - 4:00pm = FFXV Cosplay event
  • 6:00pm - 7:00~pm = FFXV Stage show with unspecified content
The unspecified FFXV stage shows, the ATR, the Q&A sessions and the Cosplay events are all being livesstreamed on SE's Twitch channel as those will focus on showing new content and the Devs being on stage to discuss those new things, and the Cosplay event too, also we will be getting the new trailer obviously.

And since we know special guests like Yoko Shimomura will be in attendance, as well as members of the development team we can expect the unspecified Stage shows to be in relation to them too.

Also not to mention the new KeyArt being on display which they will surely discuss during the ATR and others.

Even ignoring the LPs this is still a lot more than they've ever focused on XV at previous Game events and is still a massive showing.

Only the ATR will be livestreamed.
Was that confirmed to be specific only to the ATR?

All it says on Gematsu is that "Additionally, every day the Final Fantasy XV development team will answer fan questions, give out goodies, and present the game live on stage from Thursday to Saturday." and "Right at the end of the first day, there is also a special highlight for trade attendees and Wildcard Holders: the Final Fantasy XV development team will present an exclusive “Active Time Report” live streamed directly from Gamescom. The one-hour live stream on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. promises brand new insight into the highly anticipated RPG with exclusive information. Fans and visitors are welcome. Those who cannot attend can watch the live stream at: http://twitch.tv/squareenixpresents"

I think they might show some other stuff while they run an SEP stream.
