I sometimes wonder if Illazy and NoctisX21 is the same person... no offence.
I know, I prefer it if the summons weren't so important imo rather have a more down to earth story. Also I know the problems with current XV has to do with development troubles. I would rather have the game when it was fully finished instead of being rushed. Tabata's not entirely at fault here as the square management was with mishandling this project. But I still dont like alot of changes and re-writes that Tabata / the dissidia writer made, even barring the development hell. Think some things could have been handled better.
Ding ding ding.
If people want to waste their spare time destroying themselves over "what could have been" then that's on them.
The need to initiate circle-jerking over the subject however, needs to stop.
People and gamers alike have lives of their own and have no time to listen to one prattling & scapegoating the same shit ad nauseam.
That kind of behavior befits gamefaqs, should one be that eager to make a laughing stock of themselves. So to those type of users out there, be my guest, because I've had enough of witnessing self-centered garbage hidden behind the skirts of "disappointment".
The start of the topic on gamefaqs was good, until the destroying the whole 10 year development being it's focus.
Reason why is, the main issue here should be the troubled development era of FNC & SE (i.e the start of PS3/360 gen). The topic did a good job of explaining that but they should get more into that or I should say Square Enix be the one to do so. When they presented their plans at e3 2006 they appeared confident, however something went horribly wrong (which some points hint that it begin before e3 2006) as the topic creator went over and we see how things took so many bad turns. SE goal as developers and a business should be to analyze and ensure it doesn't happen again going forward..
lol so the writer for dissidia was responsable for FFXV story?
if you keep investing in this, it won't let go that's for sure.
this is like getting dumped by a girl, it's a mind trap, it'll feel it would be the best thing ever with her; time to move on.
lol right its the same
it's an analogy; the more you invest your mind the more attached you will become, not everything is worth to be attached for, specially games that will never come out that you only saw 5 minutes worth of footage
or you two could just play FFXV and enjoy the Versus elements there, or wait 50 years for Versus XV rofl
You know what. Why not just take go on fanfiction and write something
The supposed Versus story leaks sound like fanfiction to boot.
I want to clear something up even though I really wanted the versus story, I would also have been fine with Tabatas story but even that was incomplete... like really incomplete another reason im so frustrated in this. Tabata couldnt adapt versus fine, but he couldnt even flesh out his own story.
let alone nomura lol
but like i said, development issues lead to that, for both directors.
Sorry but what do you expect if they do a movie that has more costs then the game and everyting else? Its pretty e aclear that they wanted to go with the rout of dlc.For example when they moved the release again, was clear that the game wasn`t finished and then tabata messed up the story really bad. Se the result ... everyone is dead...and I didn`t care for any of them cuz there was no real backround story in the game itself
Backstory is not how you create audience sympathy. It just clarifies the current actions characters take or the state of the world. For Final Fantasy XV we hardly dabble in the past since it's all about what is happening now. When someone like Behemoth comes along we gain information about the story prior to the current world's state. It's not told in an entertaining manner, but backstory nonetheless.
Brotherhood was the backstory for our party. It showed what was required for them to exhibit behaviorally in the title game. The history of Eos is the problem.
How these two sentences even related too each other? You mean that good story is the one where everyone is alive? So you're just assblasted because everyone (not actually everyone, since Noctis friends are alive) died?
You think you're the only one disappointed? Think again.
However the difference between you and the other group of people who are disappointed is they accept that shit happens and look forward, knowing that the team are gonna try and fix it.
You're stuck in the past, in your ways, and you're going round and round in circles.
Few months from now I'll bet you'll still be posting the exact same thing you are now.
Sorry I dont want to be redundant, I think ive said everything that needs to be said on the subject. Il move on to talk about new things.
