The demo is also available on the Windows 10 Store - https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9PNKZMQZB3B6
If the Steam link doesn't work, you can also launch the download manually by entering "steam://install/671210" in the Run utility.
I'm also really hoping this will be the case. I remember there was a lake in the Vesperpool that had a really low resolution water reflection, it was super distracting and felt very incomplete. Would be cool if they addressed these things.
This all sounds so good and I really hope we don't set ourselves up for disappointment by looking at this without seeing how it's implemented into the game.
Is there any way to distinguish whether some things are cutscenes or just character banter?
Oh, I always assumed Altissia was a peninsula and had a train station/track of its own, separate from the water bridge that you use to enter. Always thought it was the part on the right here (which says Exit). But a port town makes more sense.
I've been taking a look at the FFXV Windows Edition info on steamdb and I've noticed the following things
There's 30,596 owners
About 25 people are playing it (probably testers)
There's several DLC items that are linked to it, including a red hat of which the url has "fireaxe_pyro_xmas" in it...
