Oh no, I've skipped the credits video, is there another way to watch this? It seems that there's no video updated on YouTube D:
Timestamped it and everything for you lol dunno what you looked up but this is the first video under searching "comrades standalone ending"
I wonder if the Glauca model was originally gonna have some other use in the upcoming DLC but because of the changed plans they just decided to add it as an outfit in Comrades at the very least.
You bring up a really good point, his armor would essentially just be his model if they wanted to make him a boss. Could easily have seen him in Insomnia.

Really hope Luminous Studios make an effort to keep some communication going with fans this time. The month long periods of silence are starting to get on my nerves especially when they result in disappointing or underwhelming news. Wouldn't kill them to have the twitter team tweet out some updates or teases.

Something I really want is to get a complete physical version, maybe a 2-disc version, for PS4 or at least as a remaster for the next generation. I really want it. It's not good for me to have almost half of the game in digital format.

Also, the game deserves it, has sold more than 8 million copies worldwide.

They should do what Red Dead 2 did where they have a second disc with game data on it that installs the game data to your hard drive and then the play disc which you put in to actually play the game. That way we'll get both the DLC stuff and the base game in physical form. Idk how many people would get it so soon after the RE's release but it would be a cool option to have.

I still wouldn't mind if they did a next gen port release in one disc, while based on the pc version.

Otherwise, i certainly wouldn't mind a dual disc release on current gen either.

Outside the Episode: Ardyn in March, there realistically shouldn't be any other updates, it's likely going to be just as long/ big as Episode Ignis/ Propmto anyway. They probably showed us at least 75% of the cutscenes from that one trailer. In regards to the updates to the game there is only going to be one more time that they do a patch for FFXV and it's only likely going to be the compatibility patch for the Episode and that's it. I could see them throwing in in Deathgaze (since they reworked the model), like how they added Melusine. Unless they do some sort of farewell/ thank you for the support patch consisting of content that was basically complete but just needed polish like the FFXIV and Terra Wars collab but that's setting ourselves up for disappointment. Unfortunately the game is "complete" (which was Tabata's words after the Royal Patch) at this point so there is no reason for them to add anything or give us updates.

Honestly, this installment has been one giant train wreak, and I'm happy it's over. It started with changing directors, which made the story disjointed, to then having a situation where a lot of digital assets were created that remained unused (story scenes that were shown in trailers, the Dawn Trailer, that train station and Shiva dungeon part that was supposedly close to being finished but was cut, weapons, gameplay mechanics, etc. Like this rivals FFVII's debug menu, which has a ton of unused assets.) or separated (Platinum Demo, the festivals, and now Comrades) and never integrated into the main game. Instead 60% of the games content is a copy and paste job. And part of it just seems likely laziness, considering now we see how FFXIV and Terra Wars Collab have been added to the main game. For instance I was thinking about the Platinum Demo. Like how hard would it have made this into a sidequest integrated into the game that results in obtaining Carbuncle, rather that it just becoming junk content? I can see the scenario. Noctis falls one of the forests, wakes up as child Noct like how the Demo starts, take out the buttons that change the weather/ into animals, add in one or two cutscenes of Noct and Regis together, maybe Luna, and change out the Iron Giant to something else and you have a viable segment to the main game. Or The Chocobo/ Moogle Festival, why couldn't that be/ remain the main game? It could have been an option when you slept in the hotel in Altissia and actual story elements could have been added. An example being after completing certain tasks results in you going to meet Luna in this dream state as the reward. Instead it was content that was made, man hours put in to do it and now it's thrown out, never to see the light of day. I'm ranting at this point but the mismanagement (both from Tabata and Upper management of Square) just irks me. I want the Square prior to Sakaguchi leaving, the one that was the actual art house making interesting content. Mind you I like FFXV, I just wish it was handled better.

This is buffoonery at it's finest. You're obviously a hater and don't even try to deny it lol.

Anyways, the developers themselves said in an interview a few weeks ago, that they are doing all that they can with the game right now, to show us their gratitude.

A content patch IS coming, if you want it or not. Maybe I'll be wrong but who cares. And if you'd be actually realistic you would realize that Ep. Ardyn was in development the longest and it IS going to be the meatiest episode in one way or another.

Well, given that practically everything from the datamine ended up releasing later, even if they had to change the tie-in from a game to its sequel (the Terra Wars crossover was originally a Terra Battle 2 crossover), it would be legitimately disappointing if the last two things included in the datamine didn't appear in the game. =P

Considering the obvious reason for withholding the Sylleblossom quest and its playable Luna reward (i.e., the ability to use playable Luna as a reward for completing Luna's DLC), there's no good reason for it not to make a comeback now that Luna is no longer receiving a DLC. The animations seem to have been completed, for one thing.

The other bit of datamined content -- a Forest of Memories that unlocks memories involving Noct and Luna -- could help tie in some of the missing stuff better. It'd be a great excuse to restore the elements of the Platinum Demo that would be good for new players to know or the missing scenes from the Dawn trailers.

These two things really do seem to be a logical addition.

Not likely to happen, but it's a nice idea. And nice to dream.

Ummm why wouldn't it happen? It's not like it's going to be costing them anything. lol
It most certainly would cost something.

A hater? If you read what they said in detail, you would realize they're not a "hater". They are just one person out of many disappointed with the direction of XV. They make plenty of reasonable points.

It's also very unlikely XV will receive many updates going forward. I mean, they already have cut all future content moving forward. It's clear XV is finally being put to rest. I'd love to see the remainder of mod tools finished so the fans can add what they want, but who knows if they'll do it.

I agree about my "hater" comment. But I still don't see why they wouldn't at least add something. And what would it actually cost them? I mean, the stuff was already made when Royal Edition launched?(the Luna content and forest of memories)
