this is beautiful, man FFXV characters gets so fucked up, it really is a tragedy ):

the most important characters either dies or ends fucked

Nyx, Noctis, Regis, Luna, Aera, Verstael, Iedolas, Ravus, Ardyn dies, Prompto discovers he was supposed to be a robot, Ignis gets blind, the most prestigious kingdom began with treason, all the nations in the world are destroyed by either war or a catastrophe...

and in the end, Noctis and Luna sacrificed all their lives for an ambiguous quest.

what a road trip

In the end FFXV really is all about the human bonds that can make all this supportable.

Is there any new update or important thing?

Nope. Thats it. The series leaves us with the idea that Bahamut is the true villain of the series, and we never actually get to end that threat (I assume that was the point of Noct and Luna's DLC, but they LITERALLY could have just added a segment after Ardyn's fight). Instead, we have Bahamut getting 2 badass scenes in Insomnia where he helps Noctis kill Ardyn, but receives no consequences for his actions here in this DLC.

I guess a God is a God.

Livestream summary. Can't translate or understand much of it, but here's some basics.

They started off with video messages from Noctis and Luna's Japanese voice actors.

Next, they reviewed the previously-announced XIV collab. It's running from 16 April to 27 May. During that period, they're also selling the starter packs at massive discounts.

A section on Comrades. Some banter on Kenny Crow, followed by a sample video of the boss fight against him. Something about the Assassins Creed collab that I didn't understand. Looked as if it's coming back somehow. Today.

A long section on The Dawn of the Future. Rina Kitagawa reads an extract from Luna's story! It's mainly in third-person, and reveals Luna reminiscing of events sixteen years before, and her own fate and that of Noctis. (It's quite moving, there's mentions of lots of love, and it's as if she's talking from the moment of her death, or....just after.) They show off the book as part of their promotion of the Celebration Boxset. It's nice and thick. The back cover shows Regis and Ravus watching Noctis and Luna. The postcards with it depict Noctis and Luna at the piano as both children and adults, Ardyn cradling Aera's body, and the "Happy Ending" artwork from the DotF DLC announcement video. Aranea artwork, with her looking extremely badass holding some kind of crossbow-cum-spear weapon. Vaguely sounds like that would've been her look and weapon for her DLC. Some quotes from the book, all looking very enigmatic.

The Episode Ardyn launch trailer. Followed by a Q&A with the staff leaders for the DLC. Basically a retread of previous Q&A elements about Episode Ardyn. Followed by a gameplay preview. The customisation is ludicrous, and despite the dark story there's a sense of fun around some aspects. Capped off with what appeared to be a final section from Ardyn's voice actor Keiji Fujiwara.

Final goodbyes and gratitude to the players. They looked truly emotional. And they're Japanese, so I think it's genuine. General thank yours for watching.

Whew, that was a long livestream.

Bahamuth is one of the saviors of the world. Ardyn and Noctis where the only sacrifices he made to free the world from the starscourge.
It's a pretty big deal.

I don't think Bahamut was written as a villain any more than Somnus was, to be honest.

He's not an Occuria, presumptuously taking it on himself to manipulate the history of Eos to his liking. Rather, he's a servant of fate, seeking to bring about a future which he believes must come about.

The true fault lies with destiny itself, which is simply a natural feature of the world. FFXV's position is simply that accepting that reality is necessary for true maturity.
