It's seeming SE (or just Nomura) have no faith in us who believe simple storylines can be a wonder itself. Maybe he introduced all the crazy things for Aerith Lives™?
Not everything. Water and reflection got downgraded. And the final build lost some color tone, lighting and got too bright and almost bluish compared the Duscae build. I've attached some videos which have evidences of the case.
Graphics weren't an issue. But issues spawned due to the focus...
Episode Duscae was nice but they downgraded the graphics in the final iteration. ;)
Comrades was nice idea but it's absolutely dead. Turns out the fans don't really care about the graphics that holds up!
This is my stance. Graphics no longer matters any more. FFXIII and FFXV both tried to be pioneers in graphics (or to be shiny in particular) so much they failed to see and address the gaping holes in both storytelling and characterization which are basically the primary pillars of being a Final...
Yoshida has incredible work ethics and he seems to have good eyes to hire talented people. I knew he's gonna be involved in the production although he denied the director role.
After Shadowbringers finally dumping huge lore and flesh outing its villains, it got shot to the top 3. MMO aren't my thing either. I just went in with low expectations and it was worth it. If you are judging a game by its genre, you are gonna miss out.
TGS is nearly upon us. It means new music is about to be cherished.
FFVII have two different albums to offer. One is "FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE SHINRA Tracks" which featured SHINRA related music tracks. The other is the recordings of SQUARE ENIX JAZZ -FINAL FANTASY VII- at billboard Live TOKYO.
FFVIIR will get an Orchestral Album in October. Hoping for a Piano Collection or perhaps it's too soon but the first part is already loaded enough ahhh.
Years of dissatisfaction with Hollywood and western triple A game scores being meh at best made me worried whether this game would also have followed that path. Such a relief it doesn't happen here.
lol they said it's gonna be a faithful adaptation but this isn't clearly it. "Don't trust Nomura" is my motto now. Anyway things really look fun. I'm hyped.
