Just a week to go until the industry's biggest annual event takes place and already some new tidbits and trailer of exciting games have started to pop up!

Here's some E3 2016 trailers that might peak your curiosity:

Yooka Laylee

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age

Horizon: Zero Dawn

There'll be more bits right around the corner. You feel like there's something from E3 that'll excite you? Pop it over here! I'd love to see what others are going gaga over. ;)

For the Persona players out there, some cool Persona 5 news has popped up:
  • PS3 and PS4 version to release on 14th February 2017
  • Game's western boxart to be the same as Japan's
  • There's a 'Take Your Heart' Collector's edition containing the following components which you can see in the image below
  • Hallelujah baby!

Honestly I'm glad Persona 5 isn't coming to NA until February. I'm already going to have my hands full of JRPG goodness with Final Fantasy XV and then World of Final Fantasy coming out a month later.

I'm beginning to suspect that Nier: Automata will be pushed back into next year as well.

The E3 was mostly meh for me. The highlight was Horizon gameplay. I've been cautiously optimistic about it but this made me actually excited. The game looks beautiful, has fantastic premise and the gameplay seems fun as hell. TLG getting a release date feels surreal. I watched the whole Ubisoft conference hoping for a surprise BG&E2 reveal (I don't know why I'm doing this to myself) and I almost fell asleep. The VR stuff looked silly and the coolest thing was that winter sports game at the end. I was awaiting Scalebound but the gameplay shown gave me some mixed feelings.

Zelda was the best part of this E3, hands down.

No Mother 3 though. Oh well. At least Nintendo is giving us the games we really want... like Mario Party... :(

Pretty good E3 overall.

While what NINTENDO showed about the next Zelda was very solid I can't give them the edge just for 1 game, who won E3 for me was SONY, reasons being:
  1. Present more new IPs than the competition (even thought the amount was not large it was still superior in quatity to the rest).
  2. They have The Last Guardian:D.
