Final Fantasy Explorers has obviously not been announced for an international release. My latest theory is they're doing a reissue in Japan similar to games like Bravely Default and Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 before the international release.

Well whatever's going on with it, they won't comment on it.

Bravely Default is the spiritual successor and did much better than FF Explorers. They won't release this game if the Bravely games already made it internationally, you know.
Explorers has nothing to do with Bravely Default. I think you're thinking of The 4 Heroes of Light.

What is your thinking path or logic to this theory? Or this is more of a speculation? Just wondering.

I actually wanted this game to come to the West. I want to hunt Summon with my White Mage!

Ah yes. Got them mixed up. The Monster Hunter-ish game yes?

There's not really much to say if there's no information on the release.
Yes, it was trademarked in NA a year ago.

It's just something I've been thinking, it would explain the delay in the international release.

Square Enix unfortunately has a rather sluggish attitude when it comes to bringing their handheld games to western shores. While the possibility of FFE making it to the US and Europe exists, I have my doubts about Square Enix themselves being ultimately responsible for its overseas release .
