Im guessing they are announcing the neo bundle here, I wonder if they will show neo footage and if it will look closer to the pc build we saw.

Stream rip of the Chocobo Racing shown, the footage is from PS4 and actually looks a lot better than the master footage.

Please keep in mind, this is ripped from the stream, so the video quality is bad, but when there are less frame changes (areas where the camera isn't moving so much) you can see the quality of the game more clearly. Also, things like draw distance are easily apparent, as well as lighting.

So, you have to decide whether or not the other footage looks worse because of lighting/weather conditions or if there was an actual improvement in this time. I'm going to say it's actually a mix of both.

This is why I'm not judging this graphics until I'm playing it in my own house, lol. No compression. No guessing if it's PC or ps4. No wondering if there's more polish, just me and the game, lol.

Wow... Even for them, lol.

I wouldn't care if people didn't keep taking that place seriously. This should help that, though. I know any illusion I had that this place was above it all has gone out the window.
I learned the hard way a loooooong while ago last year. Glad i stop wasting my time lurking a snobby community like GAF.

I've come to the conclusion that most overly cynical and pessimistic people are acting that way as a defensive mechanism. They're dying to play and enjoy the game, but are immensely fragile and can't cope with a game simply being enjoyable rather than "perfect". So they need to trashtalk it and nitpick every single thing in order to brace themselves. So when they do finally buy and play the game (I'm confident that most of the nay-sayers will be day 0 purchasers) they can deal with the fact that certain areas of the game will inevitably be mediocre or even bad.

My perspective is: I'm a huge FF fan and enjoy most of them. But even my favorite FF game has a shitton of things I can criticize. That's fine. I take the games as is.

I had just heard of them like 2 months ago. I'm sure I had read the name before that but glossed over it. There's some actually decent stuff there. I go there for the gifs. Not gonna lie, they have some funny people there. Some of the OT's there are fantastic. Just amazing. L/RTTP's are always nice reads at work. I won't pull a NeoGAF and focus entirely on the single nugget of negativity.

But, they are in goddamn denial over the hive mind thing. That hive mind, btw, is inevitable in any site with any sort of exclusivity. This isn't the first time I've seen it. I come from a baseball related site that's even more elitist and the same phenomenon happens. Standards are kept by the core, and people are naturally encouraged or discouraged to conform within acceptable common standards. This ultimately leads to opinions grouping up like a flock of birds in flight it just happens. No conspiracy, no secret agenda, just a natural flow. We're no different here, this is a generally positive board because the louder voices at the core don't tolerate shitposted negativity, making this place more attractive to positive-minded people, leading to a more positive hive mind. I don't deny it, and it's not something to get defensive about. It always happens.

And it's happening on GAF. And that mind is absolutely overwhelmingly distrusting of all things FFXV. And specifically FFXV. Not Final Fantasy in general even, but very specifically this game. There is 100% a prejudicial bias against this game specifically. There are also plenty of birds flying against the flock (our own Koozek being one of the better examples), but theres still a biased core. I have my theories as to why, buy I'm here to report, not speculate. The bias is 100% real, and recognizing emotional patterns in crowds and how to discern the truth within would be what my thesis is based on if I gave a fuck about getting an actual doctorate.
