Simultaneous worldwide release confirmed!

Seriously though. Really like his voice. Smooth and pleasant and light. And to hear at long last about English localization? This is just great! Thanks for sharing!

He's actually not a bad pick at all. From the sound of his voice, I'm getting the vibe that he may be our Prompto. Also, I guess the worldwide release may still be in the cards, which is exciting!

Interesting. They must be far enough into development to start banding around and getting English voice actors onboard. But obviously not far enough so the guy may probably be bollocked by Square at some point. This doesn't suggest a simultaneous worldwide release, but it is an encouraging sign that a Q4 2014 release for Japan at the possible earliest and Q1 2015 for the rest of the world may actually be possible, barring no more spanners are thrown into the works, particularly engine problems. I'm still not holding my breath for 2014 though, but we'll see.

He's got a Scottish outtake clip. Hahahaha, that sounds pretty good, but since I'm about a hundred miles south of Hadrian's Wall, I can't exactly judge how well and accurate the accent attempt is. Now I really want to see someone with a Scottish accent. Probably Prompto. He would pass as a ginger Scottish dude who decided to just dye his hair blonde.

Really excited to see this, I've been very interested to see who would get cast for the English dub of this game, now it looks like news is going to slowly trickle out. FFXV!

^actually he said he's playing 3 small roles in a big game, so he probably isn't playing a lead role.
If there's a guy doing small roles already then it probably means main characters are being recorded as well...

Therefore the game might not be as far as we think :O

His site post has been changed to the following:

You may hear Jay's voice in the upcoming Final Fantasy XV Video Game!!
Right above "Copyright 2022 Jay Preston," heh.

I'd like more of these slip-ups. ROEN, now Mr. Preston. Who's next, you think?

Well, I'm not expecting BBC or NYT quality on video game news sites, but there's something about, say, making news of a mere tweet that bothers me. Or writing up an article about a rumor before doing actual research to verify the content. Maybe they're just meant to be blogs. Maybe I'm just an oldie who expects too much in this day and age.

I think the article puts forth what we all wanted to know. What it means for a possible release.

In a recent interview, Nomura said KH3 footage we saw was actual in-engine footage (iirc). So maybe they're farther along in both projects than we think.

I would hope for a XV 2014 release but I've no idea if that's actually possible. It would be magnificent, but we'll have to see.
