I do find it quite hilarious they expected us to go to Iris in Chapter 3 before the Chocobos. Also, the new Insomnia map being locked to Chapter 14 is what I expected it to be, I knew but I'm glad they confirmed it.

Yeah, direct confirmation that its in the main story via chapter 14 pues me at ease, was afraid it would have been seperate.

Good to hear, I figured it would be locked to Chapter 14, but direct confirmation is great, it's just going to take a while to get to March 6th,

- they were hesitant about making ignis using the ring.
- ep ignis would initially be more strategic with commands and all that (RTS maybe?).
- seems like noct would have a bachelor party at the beginning, but it was cut lol.

Astute followers of this game will find it interesting the team said they were thinking about making Episode Ignis a RTS-type game.

Luna may be a party member for that moment in Chapter 14 along with Bahamut if thats what im understanding? Holy hell, maybe the insomnia expansion is actually bigger than we thought?


Edit: also that post on Reddit is still updating. Confirms that the alternate ending in episode ignis was fanservice and they are happy with the original ending. It probably also means that the Royal Update is meant to extend the ending, not alter it.

Fighting alongside Bahamut and Lunafreya, cutscene wise and/or game-play wise, would be amazing in my opinion, even if that's not the case, I'm getting more excited about what the Royal Pack will have.

Her being one in Altissia could make so much sense of they ever expand that part. Or better yet, perhaps it hints at a future Episode with Luna (though I'd prefer a part member over a focused episode DLC, but I digress).

If that happens, that could be baby steps towards that, but I still will be keeping my expectations down low, but it would be nice to see Lunafreya get some action.

i guess that mean ardyns dialogue is one of those convos that were cut, and not a new one they're planning to implement.

Who knows? Perhaps those were left out due to not enough lore about Ardyn, they could put those back in.

Honestly I can see everything from the pocket edition coming into the main game. It's an easy way to see what fans point out that are different and what they like as well.

I'm they already have heard from a few vocal people about how dialogue like that should be in the game, if it wasn't their intention to put it in already

I'm like 90% sure there will be much more to Ardyn's conflict at the end, as a think an extended fight in the beyond/afterlife is what everyone wants.

This is something I'm heavily againts and I would not want BD2 to attemp in the slightless, at best extend the boss fight itself NOT what follows after that.

I agree with that, I'm expecting a revamp to Ardyn's fight in addition to a bigger end-game, he was too easy, as for what follows after, I felt fine with how it was handled.

I'm glad Coeurls were cut down, they were tough for me early game in Comrades, and I'm pretty sure people felt the same or had a similar trouble.

Couerls are cute since I like cats but I can acknowledge that they’re hell raisers during battle

That aside, I think it’s a given that chapter 14 is getting a massive overhaul.

Perhaps there will even be an hours worth of story content?
