Does Dissidia 012 contain all of the original's content? Is it missing anything from the original?

It's missing the fun. But seriously, from what I recall, save for gameplay changes, I think it contains almost everything the first game had, even the story.

It has everything, but IIRC the cutscenes from the original have in some cases been truncated to text-only (IE no animation), and in all other cases been done as pre-rendered movies (in-engine, but movie files rather than real-time) with visible compression artefacts. It's all there though.
