Final Fantasy Grandmasters announced for iOS/Android

Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy Grandmasters in today's Final Fantasy XI press conference. This is a free free-to-play, online spin-off game for FFXI developed for iOS & Android by CROOZ. Beta testing begins next month in Japan.

Square Enix has confirmed the game will be released internationally.

I haven't played XI, and I would love to play it, but this seems like the best option. The only problem is... it's a mobile game, and it's likely going to just be an adaptation that loosely resembles the storyline of XI.

I don't like mobile games at all, this really kills it for me, even if it's F2P, that just means it will limit my time playing the game. I guess we'll see when more details come out about it.
