So it is obvious to me Final Fantasy XV relies heavily on royalty and nobility tropes. This page is meant to keep track of all the royal houses and those who serve them. (note: a work in progress - will finish later).

Please add the game title or abbreviation to your topic titles in the future, just so people know what they're walking into. I'm personally avoiding spoilers for games like FFXV when I can, so don't want to wander into topics unexpectedly and get spoiled.

Ammended your title for you.

How about the Aldercapt royal family of Niflheim?
Well, we only know the emperor Idola, but what if he has a son?
My bet is on the hooded guy with the Assassin's Creed vibe.

A spoiler it seems...

Come on people, why do I walk into this sort of thing? If there's a spoiler please put it in

SPOILER TEXT
This is not a spoiler because the demo is out. These are just names. None of these names are new unless your surprised Luna is a Fleuret (oh dear spoiler, Noctis is meeting another aristocrat); please know their connection is not established. Luna's surname is raveled, that's all.

The full game isn't out and the demo only reveals actual story content at the end, which is just an updated version of an already written synopsis that has been out for years. Otherwise it's ambiguous in the context of lore yet to be seen. I am not waiting until gamers beat the demo or full game to post more. Don't have the patience for everyone else to catch up.

The point of this page is to keep track of all the important people of wealth and fame because there will be lots due to the nature of a political driven story. If you haven't checked out on the overall narrative then I suggest you guys hop on it. I am spoiling nothing, only posting names when they appear in the future like Luna's full name did yesterday. The second information is leaked I take it and make something out of it, so either ignore that creation or take a gander. Since you asked, I will post spoiler in the title though I don't understand what is being spoiled.

(note: once again this page is a long work in progress. Won't be finished till later, aka when I feel like like doing more research).

Once more people appear I'm going do it like a Game of Thrones chart. WAIT family tree. That's a better idea.

It might not be a big spoiler but still, people obviously don't want to know anything about the demo they are going to play this week. What I mean is that there sould be more thought when you do something like this, you should be more considerate and not feel so entitled to post a spoiler (again, as insignificant as this is) just because you can and just because you don't want to wait for people to beat the demo (a demo that is not out until this Friday here in Europe, btw, and that just came out today for most Americans).

When you reveal her name, one could easily deduce that she's featured in a way or another in the demo (whichever way it is), and that's something that most of us would want to be surprised by when playing the actual game.

The only reason I know about the ending and the summon is because, well, I'll never get to play the demo. But it would have been a bit annoying having that spoiled, even if again, is something so minimal.

Anyways, on-topic, I hope the focus on royal families and whatnot, making the world richer by having these relationships between families and nations being something deep and complex. This is probably the first FF that is going to feel based on an actual world thanks to tech and design, rather than being a globe with only about three cities with some villages scattered around.

Well, except for Ivalice, sure. That's one the best qualities of that game. The lore is just great, and the world actually feels alive and big.

This arrogant excuse is not an argument. Just because the demo is out means you can freely spoil whatever you wish without warning? Get off those clouds pal. Like @Tornak said, it may not be a big spoiler, but many people here don't want to know anything about the demo until they play it (myself included).
