Well, it's certainly an upgrade. It has the sort of lighting and textures that make this unrecognisable as a former PSP game, but given the spades of inconsistent visuals within the clean new look, the animation still rather janky, and the number of small maps interspersed with loading screens clearly a legacy of this game's origins on a technically limited platform, any observer can tell this isn't a native PS4 or Xbone game.

But, it's still pretty. Prettier than I originally thought it would be. Nothing wrong with localisation or voice acting either, but everyone is saying Yuri Lowenthal is probably in it.

It's what I expected. You can still see the simple low poly geometry but they're using things like better lighting for example to cover that up that PSP look.

On second thoughts, it was just my stream that made the animations look janky. No, animations are actually not too bad at all, but overall the footage just looks inconsistent. It can look incredible here and there, namely in bright outdoors areas with that lighting, bloom and motion blur, but cut inside and suddenly you notice how flat and boxy everything is. Low-poly geometry, etc.

Now I wonder if there's a mirror stream. I've just closed mine, and I've realised it's gone. D=

Yep looking real good. That motion blur helps.

I'm guessing this is also something we were supposed to see tonight? lol whats next? sneak preview of FFXV footage?

You know... I really wonder what Square Enix PR is thinking about all these embargo breaks? I personally find it hilarious. So close to the finish line and then BAM MOTHER FUCKER!

That's what they get for making us wait so long I guess! :)

Either way publicity is publicity! In the end this is only helping them, which in my book is a good thing (despite them upsetting me at times lol).

EDIT: I could have my perspective all wrong on the matter though.
