Mobius Final Fantasy has finished development and as a result the team can now work on Toriyama's title. The Mobius Final Fantasy team included key members of the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy team including lead art designer Toshitaka Matsuda, character designer Toshiyuki Itahana and main programmer Naoki Hamaguchi.

And now a reminder of Motomu Toriyama's message via 4Gamer.net translated by goldpanner.

I am currently working hard on the next project.
We will be able to announce it in 2015, so please look forward to that!

Other than the team & Toriyama working on this title, do we know anything about the game itself? I honestly don't know what to get excited for it.
No, because they haven't announced it yet.

I'm only excited since Toriyama is my fav director and Kitase is my fav producer and I love their games.

I don't know what you like about Toriyama so much, but I hope his game is as good as you expect it to be (or even better), because... well, you see too happy about it xD
...I just hope it isn't a new Final Fantasy. I don't want this guy close to this franchise again ^^U

I just love X, X-2, XIII, XIII-2 and LR. And I quite enjoyed Revenant Wings (it has my longest average play time on my 3DS haha) and Front Mission Evolved.

So you didn't like X, X-2, Last Mission, Revenant Wings, XIII, XIII-2 or LR?

X was halfway decent, none of the other games were in my humble opinion. I honestly wish Toriyama would be returned to a reduced role because I think a lot of the work he did as a contributor to a larger whole was much better than what he's doing as the head of a project.

Agree, none of the games with Toriyama as director have been exactly stellar. Good games, but hardly memorable.

This goes back to what I was saying in another thread. Xenoblade Chronicles X has a Director (Koh Kojima), General Director (Tetsuya Takahashi) and Director from Nintendo SPD Group (Genki Yokota).

Not all companies follow the same rules and definitions when it comes to titles. Project Leader could mean creative guy for all we know, which is Nomura's role for Kingdom Hearts 3. Or it could mean he's in charge and leads certain parts of development, but not the whole entire project.

And again, Toriyama clearly said his title will be revealed in 2015 and at this time Kitase was openly talking about Mobius. Not to mention Yuji Abe & Watanabe are clearly not working on Mobius.

Project leader is not the same thing as the director.
And yet he's the one going around promoting the game.

I know you hated XIII but Toriyama clearly said he's revealing his game in 2015, multiple translations have confirmed this and it will most likely have Yuji Abe & Watanabe working on it.

And I know you love Toriyama, yet it doesn't mean anything in the end.

Yes, but I know for a fact she wants him on mobile for that reason despite the fact she's clearly enjoying X/X-2 HD on PS4. Haha.

Multiple respected translators have confirmed Toriyama's game is going to be revealed in 2015. Haters just gonna have to get over it.
