This is definitely from the full game as LeonBlade said. The demo isn't really representative of anything of the full game. It was created over two months by two people which is why it wasn't visually as impressive as Ep Duscae. This moment of the game seems like it leads into one of the parts of the Brotherhood anime but I won't say what that is in case you haven't seen it. I really need to fix my time machine so I can warp to september 30th lol. I have a serious obsession with this game and the FF series in general.

I actually thought that the graphics in the Platinum demo were better than Episode Duscae. It's hard to say though because they're such different environments.

Also if this is what you think it is then...HYPE.

And please don't try and fix your time machine because if it goes wrong then time could fracture and none of us will ever get to play it xD

Before the demo was released, I assumed that we would be playing that dream sequence in the demo. I figured that it was going to be a way of them to introduce a bit of story into what was mostly going to be a tech demo; however, I'm fine with that we got. That dialogue with the soccer balls definitely made me tear up. Great way of giving an insight to the maturity and emotional charge of the dialogue that the main game will contain.

Yea I didn't think about the potential consequences of meddling with the fabric of space and time lol. I just thought solely of my hype for FFXV. I will cease work on my time machine and instead freeze myself until the 30th of September.

My initial thought when I saw when Tabata said there wouldn't be Tonberries was that he looked like he genuinely was having a brain fart (he looked very tired as he usually does) and I all he said was that he didn't think they were in the game. And genuinely came off like he just wasn't completely sure off the top of his head and in the moment.

Edit: And yeah, I'd like to volunteer for being frozen as well.

Thanks again to the eagle eyes on NeoGAF, the full on skull motif is gone...it now looks almost like a flying train head on...however you can still see the bottom part of what used to be the skull which looks like it has teeth still..Doomtrain confirmed?

Yep, (full-on) Skulls are gone, which is really stupid as there still ARE skulls in the game and I think one of the reasons Nomura originally chose Roen is they have a skull and cross bones as their logo! It fit the original Lucian "death worship" lore.

You can still see various skulls everytime you zoom in on a main character, lol Especially Noctis from TGS 2014 trailer

Never mind buttons, what is that CLEARLY visible on Noctis's pant-leg?? Oh, its the Roen logo. See, they (contractually) cannot fully get rid of the skull motif!! So, why try at all?

If they really did scrap the old emblem with the possibly Diabolos face and bird if my theory was correct than the fact that Diabolos is representative of the devil is proabably the main issue. Devil worship seems like the culprit here. How can they keep the emblem for the Iphone case if it's scrapped though?. I don't know honestly if they got rid of it or not. We shall see though.

I was just lurking over on GAF and a user there claims to have found the logo intact in the Platinum Demo, albeit a tiny one. I'm gonna go through the demo myself, and see if I can capture a shot of it to post here...stand by

Yep, qualitydisc was right, it is quite small however, and being that you can't zoom in, this was the best I could do.




Here, I did a quick MSpaint job to try to blow it up a bit for a better comparison



So, either SE forgot about this (there are two instances of the crest though as it is emblazoned upon the end of each carpet), or, it is indeed as @NovaCrystalis, BladeRunner, Storm, LeonBlade and many of us have speculated: IE, the death theme is still present, but indeed is very much toned down

Nice find man!!. Now that there is a much bigger picture of that Iphone case can someone acknowledge that there is a bird in that picture please oh pleasies lol. I want to make sure I am not the only one who sees it and I think it is worth talking about. No one really responded to me about Gladios tattoo having the same bird on it.

Edit: Something that is interesting about the bird if it happens to be Phoenix is that it symbolizes rebirth while the other part of the emblem is either Diabolos or Hades(it looks like the former but still) which would be symbolic of death so that may be significant somehow.

After looking at it more, it became clear that the image is all one creature, so from there it became speculation about the identity of that creature. So yeah, this is interesting discussion

I think you may be slightly mistaken about it being one creature. To the right of the skull is a round shape with a star looking thing inside of it now look to the right of that thing you will see that feathered wing and if you look right above it you will see the head of a bird facing to the left. Sorry this is kind of hard to explain and I wish I had some sort of program on my computer to draw a circle around it to show you exactly where it is. You should spot it though I hope.
