I'm really liking the tone of the movie, both theme and visual-wise.

I'm sticking to the Japanese version for sure, haven't liked what I heard in English beyond the main actors, who I quite like.

I like the impression that Lucis' population is perhaps becoming isolationist and xenophobic after so long. Also, after a second watch, I really like Izuna's voice actor. I know I've heard him before, but I really can't place him.

Also, what the heck was that smoke-and-fire beast near the end?!

New updates on Kingslgiave. We now know what Gladiolus' father Clarus Amicitia looks like. And it sounds like (from a story/lore perspective) Ardyn came out of nowhere relatively speaking, which is only reinforcing my opinions and theories about him. Seriously turning into my favorite FF antagonist after Caius Ballad. Oh, and some amazing new promotional artwork. Pretty sure that's a small crystal in Lunafreya's hand. So much hype! Hope it get's a reachable cinema release in the UK as well as US. I'd be willing to put up with the seats for this...maybe.

Oh yes, and the updated staff list has some more cast listed. It shows a "Ravus Nox Fleuret". We may get a chance to see... maybe Lunafreya's father or brother?

If it's the hooded man, then it's more likely to be her brother. The color scheme seems to fit. Hmm. Ravus. Latin: the conditional of Ravi, which as a verb translates as "to delight" or "to enchant", while as a noun it translates as "care". So if he is Ravus, then his name might translate to something like "Enchanting/Caring Rapier of Night".

Well Ravus is latin that's right, but it means to me "grey" or "grey-yellow".
So why grey?
Because he's neutral (black-Lucis/white-Niflheim)?
He's also wearing a black+white cloth = grey or based on his old versus cloth it was completely grey.

Also have a high res poster: (Now I need the high res of those characters^^)
It's not a crystal what Luna is holding, it's the ring.^^
It really has a special meaning to the story.

Oh, it's the ring. I see. If she's given it by Regis, that would explain how it got out of Lucis when Niflheim attacked. That's always been a bit of a plot hole for me.

Yay, just found out, I won't have to wait for any cinema release. It's releasing on DVD alongside the game in the UK!

EDIT: Pre-ordered. Looking forward to it, at least as a visual spectacular.

Have a question, what about europe, does it also come to the cinema or is this not confirmed yet?
Also, does it only have eng/jap voices or also other languages? Since the game is multi-languages.

At the moment there´s only japanese and english dub. No information regarding if there will a screening on Europe. It will be available to download/stream at some point this year.
