I never noticed that the stamina gauge will now also work as the grid gauge.

"Using them takes MP slowly", taking MP just by having it selected or using it (attacking)? I don´t remember any of the preview reports mentioning this.

I didn't realize that the Phantom Swords used MP while you used them, that's pretty cool. I like the ability they showed Noctis use where he short warps between enemies which uses up MP. Once we get further into the game we'll be spending a lot more MP, so having weapons that can help regenerate it is going to be a part of your strategy. I'm really excited to play this game.

When you attack with them, if you play Platinum Demo the Shurikens are also Royal Arms/Phantom Weapons and every time you throw stars it costs 3mp per attack.

What Novum said, yep. It was (iirc) marked with a "V", so I assume it's the 5th Phantom Blade.

I guess regular shurikens are going to be quite weak compared to regular blades, as, if they don't consume MP, they are pretty fast to use and you can very easily avoid attacks when using it.

Great work as always! All kinds of fun stuff I missed the first 5 times I watched the gameplay vid, lol.

Biggest thing, the descriptions of the weapon effects. This has me salivating for the game. Better than I was hoping. I was already expecting that we'd be building our decks to create our own combos for things, and that it'd basically be only separated by weapon type. The effects here make it worth changing out my deck depending on the situation.

Combined with the weapons apparently takign the FFX route and being potentially relevant forever, this is best case scenario for me. Need to disable some dangerous limbs on a monster? Got a weapon for that. Getting beat up? swap in the Avengers for some bonus damage. Ice enemy coming up? Blast that mo-fo with ice bullets. Knock down the big ol beast with one weapon, then swap in the daggers that eat up vulnerable targets. I love it.
