So, the first half of the game being open-word and the second more linear... 15 chapters in total.

I think this is very interesting. And certainly original, as it's the opposite most games do (including FFs themselves). It also should ease any worry about the game being too fetch-quest-ish or dettached from plot. I wonder how they're going to tackle it.

And I mean, beyond a few scenes, have they really shown anything that could be consider late game? We've mostly seen Leide and Duscae, as well as Altissia. I wonder whether after Altissia and Levi, something interesting happens. Also, the whole Plague of the Stars thing: I wouldn't be surprised if another World of Ruin happens here (as many have said already) and I would fucking love it.

And the fact that the latter half of the game is more linear and that they haven't really show much of it makes me think that we could be playing the timeskip for a longer time than expected. Anyways, I'm very interested in seeing how the latter half is going to be, and how they're going to handle this change of pace.

Absolutely gorgeous little town. This was the inspiration for the city of Termina in Chrono Cross just fyi. This is so great. So happy about this.

I'm looking forward to seeing the comparison's between the old map model we had from a couple of years ago and the one they have shown today. Is it smaller? By the looks of it things have moved around but I'm sure someone will give some great comparison's

Edit: False Alarms, it's been confirmed to be the old map before they later expanded it (phew)

I think the Insomnia stuff is cut and was from a prototype build.
