Good way to wrap up the anime IMO. Not too many revelations but all in all good. That last like 2 seconds where the Sun was eclipsed and there were just stars in the sky. Much foreshadowing.

Edit: Forgot to mention, the Episode comes out on YouTube at 1PM AEST (or 39 minutes before this thread was made)

I think this episode was a bit short, which is kinda dissapointing considering the previous one was 17 minutes long.

I think it was a nice wrap up of where episode 1 left, I liked the team combo to take out the Marilith.

EDIT: My ranking of the episodes would be as follows
  1. Bittersweet Memories (8/10)
  2. Dogged Runner (7/10)
  3. Swords and Shield (7/10)
  4. The Warmth of Light (7/10)
  5. Before the Storm (6/10)

I liked the combination attacks at the end of the episode and also the scene with King Regis. As has already been mentioned, it would have been nice for it to be longer with it being the last episode. I'd say dogged runner was my favourite episode, purely because Prompto's back story was unexpected and it made me like the character. I've been enjoying the release of a Brotherhood episode each month on the lead up to release, so will now have to find something else to tied me over!

the episode was doing great, noctis crying was really a touching scene, and then... it was over already.

so short. ;(

Ok so when I watched the first episode of Brotherhood I assumed that the woman lying beside Noctis in the pool of blood was his mother. Who the hell was that woman and where is Noctis' mother?. I feel it is strange she has never come up at all. I wonder if she will be important in the game some how.

Okay so I just re watched the series, and I had a question about 5. When he got attacked by the snake lady as a child, what was his actual injury? Cause it seemed like the hand maiden/nanny took most of the blow, and it seemed like his only physical injuries were bleeding from the head and an arm injury. Maybe he was traumatized as well cause his hand maiden/nanny died in front of him, but would that be the reason for him to go to Tenebrae to get healed? Also I forget, is that "special power due to almost dying/being close to death" still a thing? Cause if it is then would this count? I mean technically it is cause the dead kings power flows through him.

I wonder if it's when you seek council with the other kings and ask them to save someone like this and that's where they are granted power to live on. Otherwise, how is a near death experience special enough to warrant powers?

Good point
maybe Noctis' life is owed to the Lucian Kings as Nyx's was for granting him the power and healing him. It could be why Regis is crying in the Dawn trailer. Noctis is clearly special for another reason too though. He is important somehow in saving the world but we don't know what that means yet. He may need to die after the world is saved. We shall see

I'm also convinced that the Oracles can predict the future, so they also might know what is going to happen with Noctis as well.

It was confirmed she died after giving birth to him shortly.
