so anyone really thought about the meaning of the name of the final quest? The Cure for Insomnia... the cure of a person that can't sleep, Noctis killing Ardyn is basically him putting an end to his immortality... Ardyn can finally sleep.
I wonder if Ardyn himself founded Insomnia tbh.

It’s a very poetic way of looking at it but that’s how I saw it as well, especially if you’re of the thought that Ardyn is the underlying dark horse/ central character for the game’s story - not Noctis.

How? The meaning is still there regardless of Noctis or Ardyn being the central character.

Nice observation, surprisingly the final quest has a different name in japanese (王都決戦 - "Battle for the Capital").

Recently noticed that after Noct gives Luna the photo he takes off the glove from his right arm for some reason, the same arm that has no glove in his main attire pre-time skip.

I always figured there were two reasons for that, one in-universe, one meta:

1) It's a lot more intimate to touch the face of one's beloved with a bare hand than a gloved one.
2) Portraying a character removing an article of clothing without cutting away is hard enough in CG, so doing that in realtime is a great way to show off. XD

another interesting point about the ending (and the whole story), is that the world gets completely changed, never to be the same.

each major nation of the game gets destroyed by a sort of calamity (Insomnia during a invasion, Accordo during leviathan's attack, Tenebrae -another invasion, and then the daemon outbreak in Gralea); the entire foundation broken.

after the ending, there's no nation, oracles, monarchy, crystal and maybe even the astrals are gone, is basically a new era for humanity, not much different than it was at the ending of XIII.

- The struggle for the final Crystal is merely a prologue to the chronicles of a new era.

That's actually present in both XIII and Type-0. The system of crystals and war - which brought both prosperity and hardship to the world - is abandoned after the climax of Type-0. Just counting XIII that happens too, but the whole XIII saga results in humanity abandoning their connection with the gods to forge their own world and destiny. In XV, it's the same; humanity has forsaken the old order, and potentially their divine links as the chosen Lucis Caelum and Nox Fleuret lines are extinct. The whole of humanity has also been forced to unite to survive the Starscourge, breaking down barriers that likely won't ever be built up again in the same way.
