Nintendo has released a new trailer for Pokemon X and Y along with some info regarding a new feature for the sixth generation of Pokemon; mega evolutions!
Mega evolutions give the standard stat power up that normal evolutions do, but they come with a catch. Pokemon that can mega evolve will only do so during battle, an effect that is only temporary for the duration of said battle.
Stat increases may not be the only effect of mega evolutions, as type or attacks may change as well....
