Nintendo Is Finally Releasing Smaller New Nintendo 3DS in North America!

After months of fans whining that the New 3DS smaller version (non XL) were not released in North America, Nintendo of North American finally confirmed that it will release it on September 25th!

Nintendo announced the pocket-sized version of its popular games handheld at GameStop’s annual managerial conference in Las Vegas Monday afternoon. The tinier system will be available only bundled with Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer (downloadable, not a physical cartridge), two Animal Crossing-themed cover plates, an Animal Crossing Amiibo card, a 4GB SDHC memory card and six augmented reality cards on September 25 for $219.99.

This is a fantastic news for people like me, whom have been holding off getting a New 3DS! Some of the face plates available in Japan were simply amazing including this Boo Glow-in-the-Dark face plate!

I still need to get a New 3DS one but will pick up the large one. I might try to get the Hyrule Gold Edition, which was just announced today.
