Pretty much zero chance of FFXV in 2015 now

There is pretty much zero chance of Final Fantasy XV releasing in 2015 now. Holiday 2015 line-up is officially crowded. Including two massive Square Enix games in Rise of the Tomb Raider and Just Cause 3. And this is before you consider all the other massive games coming Holiday 2015 including Star Wars Battlefront and most likely Uncharted 4.

Well. If we're talking about fiscal 2015, there's a very slim chance of it being released at March 2016... But I won't bet on it.

With multiple companies providing asset creation to speed up development, I think it's actually highly possible.
Yeah, more and more people are getting hired everytime I turn around to see what FF news there is. :p

Just because there's a crowd, doesn't mean you can't join in the crowd :D. ( I am still sticking with late 2015-early 2016 timeframe.)

While I'm pretty sure FFXV isn't coming 2015, I just want to point out that all the games you've mentioned don't actually have official release dates. Any games beyond June are still a mystery.

True, but 3 of the 4 are confirmed for Holiday 2015.

There was a previous poll on predictions of FFXV release. I looked at it and saw there was 10 votes. I'm curious about each of those people's reactions and feelings when the chance just got from slim to nothing. Thoughts?

Yah, I was one of those people that said late 2015-early 2016 ( and I still do for the moment). Just because they said we went from 55%-60% in 4 monthsish, doesn't mean we won't see this game till late 2016- early 2017. That's not how development works. Some stages are easier than others, everyone is working on there own section of the game, which is why Tabata says we are at 60% (from 55%), and then right after says:

" As things start to come together, it could jump to 80% in one go"

80% in most games is the game itself is complete. All that's left is Debugging and optimization. ( The last 20%). The question becomes will they be able to combine all the work into one for the magic 80% number by E3 2015? Maybe, I don't know how much each section has done, but I do feel they will be able to do it, because that's how optimistic I am :p. If they hit 80% Before E3 2015 it's a definite we will see the game in late 2015 (or early 2016).

They also are outsourcing this game as well working on the second half of the game ( who knows how far they are into the later half of the game). The fact that they are getting other people to work on this game, lets me know they are serious on getting this game out ASAP, and gives me hope of a late 2015-early 2016 release.

We shall see what happens E3 2015 is only 3 monthsish away.

That's what happens when you trust arbitrary numbers.
Same can go the other way around, people trusting numbers and saying ( "pretty much zero chance") They are relying on numbers as well XD. I just see that number differently then other people would :p.

Well, Tabata did say it could go from 60% to 80% almost instantly depending on many factors. So... saying there's a zero chance means absolutely nothing. I still think March 2016 is possible.

I so hope your right. It might have been on this site I read somewhere someone said "If it makes it better for anyone, just think of it like FFXV has only been in development since 2012, because Versus XIII was only a couple concept CGI videos." Which I kind of agree with. But even still, the IDEA of this game has been around since 2006, and I know the fans(including me) are so looking forward to it.
