I'm trying to get into Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut on PS3, and I'm enjoying the story and visuals but the problem is it's first-person. And I don't play first-person games, so I'm having trouble getting into it sadly.

The whole point of a first-person perspective is to make the player more immersed in the game. I guess the genre's probably not your thing if it hasn't worked out so far.

Half-Life 2 was my favourite game of all time before I played Persona 4. I didn't quite like Deus Ex: HR from some respects in comparison, but I still think it's a solid game. Make it a habit to observe your surroundings. In Deus Ex: HR's case, try and be creative and explore the world in your own way, be it through hacking, sneaking, or going in guns blazing. The core idea of a first-person game is to make the player you.
