That was a hell of a lot of text to type for a white-hot release on a forum where there are members employed (at one point or another) by SE - not to mention journalists who are reviewing the game right now. They would be able to pick up any inconsistencies immediately. The hubris alone is illogical. But with this game, reason goes out the window.

This fuckin game, man. It's not even out yet and it's been the most entertaining thing ever! it is a goddamn trip.
It's pretty rare someone gets past my bullshit-o-meter the way Verendus did. I totally understand the the cold reading comparison, but I still want to sort of believe it's just shitty wording on Verendus' part or something.
But, I ain't holding my breath on that. Still, it's entertaining as hell. We've still got 9 or 10 days. There's still the review day, oh man. Part of me wishes this game would never come out. I am really going to miss following it.

Well the only things that have been fully leaked are chapters 1-2 and the last like 10% of chapter 15 (I assume its much more than what we saw). We haven't seen everything from chapters 3-9 as nothing has been fully streamed of those chapters yet (we've barely seen any of the stuff that happens in those chapters regardless, at least after the titan fight). That means we haven't seen ANYTHING of chapters 10-14, which likely take place on the second continent. While I haven't been following too closely, I did spoil myself (mostly my fault) because of these, not sure if there was anything else.
I am going to play devil's advocate here and say that everything past Lucis and Altissia at this point may not be explorable. Sure you go to terraverde but lets say you get the Airship before you complete the train section, how does that stop you from basically advancing further than you were in the more train section?
BUT, on the bright side, the world was described as seamless as Tabata stated and maybe we get the airship after we beat the game, allowing us to do so. I'm also thinking the Train areas are probably sizable as well, lets not forget that we saw a Santorini like building/town in one of the tech demos, its likely there too. Regardless of what was spoiled, we haven't technically seen half the world yet with those chapters, and more than half the story.

Anyway i like what I see so far but understand that so much of it is taken way out of context. I've been trying to tell people that they haven't seen basically 80% of the game in its fullest and to keep an open mind until they play it themselves, regardless of whether or not they like what they've seen. The ending could be taken in a completely different context, especially if we haven't seen almost all of the second half of the game to begin with. I feel like this community here is the only one that actually understands that lol. Just my two cents on how frustrated I am with the Internet and people that jump to extraordinary conclusions about a game they haven't played yet, and barely even seen.
For example, the streamer yesterday didn't even have the ring of the Lucii section in the ascension tree even after beating the game. Somebody could have easily complained about that and said that the item is just a gimmick. Yet today in the 101 trailer, we saw that it indeed has a skill tree of its own (there's a 9th skill tree to the far right that we've never seen before). Which clearly indicates that the streamer rushed through so much of the game that he never bothered to utilize an entire gameplay mechanic within the game.
The point I'm getting at here is that people are doing the same with the story right now. The whole train section is missing, which is where the bulk of the story mainly is according to devs, yet a mod on Neogaf just jumps to conclusions about the games story, and countless users complain about the fates of certain characters after only seeing the same 3 chapters for the last 2 years, including leaks, not realizing that 90% of the game has basically been left untold, that so much of it comes from dialogue between the Bros, that ending scenes likely happen the way they do because by that point we accept the conclusion the game is offering us. And this is coming from a person who actually likes the ending given how little context was given to us.
