We never saw grew stella in e3 2013 trailer, only in cg artwork and its looks pretty same to luna for me... heck the last time we saw stella in trailer that was back 2011 when nomura was the boss after 2011 the game is changed in every way (2012 when tabata came to XV project) so why not? stella can be deleted i mean not really deleted but change her name and role etc...so yes basically the old stella is dead, with the old plot VS13.
No reason to believe that based on what your saying here. Why go through the trouble of renaming Stella just to change her character slightly...

They said that saw Stella last year she still exists.

The possibilities are getting interesting. Initially after seeing the trailer for the first time. I immediately assumed that was Stella in some sort of formal dress up. When Luna was mentioned, I figured it was meant to be a red herring over the 'Stella' shot.

Thinking over some of these theories, I found myself believing more that Stella is using Luna as a pseudonym/alias. Referring back to that intro of the E3 2013 trailer it's possible Stella & Noctis knew one another as children, but were apart for so long they couldn't recognize each other as adults (or at least Noctis wouldn't be able to.) We see them meeting each other at the party for peace treaty signing, as if for the first time. Although that contradicts the scene of them as children (assuming they are indeed Noctis and Stella playing.)

Now bearing all this in mind, from the preview we've had of their conversation back in that 2008 clip, she never once introduces her self as 'Stella'. I have a hunch that is the moment she introduces herself instead as 'Luna'. She then invites Noctis to come visit her in Tenebrae. I'm aware that particular clip was most likely from an incomplete script, still I feel it's plausible. Stella seems to play an important role in the events of XV, so there are reasons why she would want to conceal her identity. Possibly for her safety, with tensions increasing, and the state of the nations slipping back into war.

On the flip side, the twin sister theory is equally as interesting. In regards to that one, I'm at a loss, so more story details are needed.
She does call herself Stella though...

The little girl doesn't call herself Stella, but if that girl is the same girl we hear in the trailer (but later on in life) then yes, that is Stella.
Noctis, you can see the light?
Her voice actor specifically says:
ノクティス様光が見えるんですね
And if you look back in the old Versus trailers, Stella says the same exact line:
ノクティス様光が見えるんですね
は and も are both what are referred to as sentence particles, the only difference here is that は is just a generic topic particle, whereas も is specifying "too" when referring to the ability to see the light.

The difference in translation is:
Noctis, you can see the light too? (は)
Noctis, you can see the light too? (も)

So, if we are to assume that the girl running with what is assumingly Noctis is the person we hear in the trailer, then we can confirm this is indeed Stella.

As for my comment about "She does call herself Stella...", I was referring to the trailer when Noctis meets Stella for the first time, she introduces herself as "Stella".

Based on their names, we might be able to find some clues:

Noctis with the Latin root of [Noct-], which means night
Luna equating to the moon
Stella meaning stars

Luna and Stella are both night time objects (unless you interpret Stella as the start = Sun) . Given Square Enix's love of Latin words and roots, I'm quite sure they did this on purpose.

Re: Ring, it's depends on which culture you're from, ring hand ring finger doesn't always mean married or engage. In the US, wedding band generally wears on left side.

Wait, are you suggesting some love-triangle-with-twins kind of romance?
Neat.
