I cannot believe it, this is all to surreal. Not to metion, Nomura is directing! I guess this was the reason behind him departing from XV, while not being active on KHIII.

Midgar looks so grand, filthy, and beautiful, just like it ought to be. The atmosphere is pretty amazing. Very curious in seeing what direction the gameplay will go.

Also, Roberto Ferrari seems to be becoming a premier artist at SE. Side by side with Nomura on big projects.

So this can put to rest those doubts about Nomura's animosity towards Square-Enix regarding his director status on XV. He likely had a choice between this and XV. Pretty sure he chose the remake in a heartbeat.

This stil makes more questions, because i remember (i could be wrong) Nomura saying that he doesn't like taking the directorial role in a game.

Also this confirms that Nomura can work as a director in a future FF.

Nomura would make an exception for VII. It's a franchise that's close to his heart since he worked on the original and the compilation. Square-Enix couldn't have picked anyone better for the job from their current pool of selections.

With this E3 my most anticipatted liat has changed, this is now :
  1. FFXV (still none of the below can beat 9+ years of waiting).
  2. The Last Guardian (none of the below can beat 5+ years of waiting).
  3. PERSONA 5 (know less about it than i do from FFVII)
  4. FFVII Remake (good and everything but still and old concept, but still hyped)
  5. DARK SOULS 3

Can't believe they actually went and finally did it. I have so many questions now. It's going to be interesting to see what kind of choices they make when going about rebuilding a modern day FFVII.
I'm mainly curious to see what they're going to do with the combat and world map. Though of course they're going to have to redesign almost the entire game. Top down design sensibilities likely won't apply to what (it seems) they're going for.

This winter!? That's like 6 months from now!
