Welcome to our community's Final Fantasy Replay and Discussion

Here every single "Moogle" from the Mognet Central can show interest in a Final Fantasy game, that they would like to replay again and discuss for it. The purpose of this little project is to share ideas, possibly images and personal reactions during gameplay, as long as to discuss about the games' features including gameplay, sidequests, music, scenario etc.

This poll is created for a single reason. Anyone who wants to play one of the above Final Fantasy games, can vote for it, comment on this thread showing their interest and if there are at least 3 Moogles who would like to play the same game, a respective thread for it will be created and their journey will begin...

There are no rules on how you play each game and there is no limit on how long you wish to play the game. No checkpoints, no rushing, no waiting for others. Complete freedom. It is necessary though to occasionally discuss about the game during gameplay, so that the thread stays alive...
Anyone who cannot play the game, but they would like to just discuss about it, or help the players by sharing ideas, is free to do so.

EDIT: A thread for Final Fantasy IX already exists and anyone who wishes to participate is free to do so...
EDIT 2: I suggest anyone who wants to replay Final Fantasy X/X-2 to hold their horses until the HD is out!

I would like to play XIII and XIII-2 before LR comes out, but since it's not out till Feb, I would rather delay my time with them till probably around Jan. Possibly a bit earlier in Dec. But for me, the next ones I play will be VII and VIII before anything else, so if people play XIII soon, I don't know if I'll join in yet. I'll see what happens and make a decision then.

@Sapientia Of course you can create it! I will keep an eye on all threads to help anyone who wants to join in or whatever, but feel free to create it! As I stated above our philosophy is the "Complete Freedom"! I've already voted for the XIII saga when you wish to start playing it. I hope I'll have more free time for both IX and XIII from now on...

@Azuardo I would too prefer if the XIII saga team delayed it a bit, at least until late November for the same reasons. Feel free though to participate in all conversations and share your ideas when you start playing. All new threads are open. You can vote for multiple games and start playing them when you want to...

Glad to see the replay thread take off now that there are no rules. I might, MIGHT be able to join the LR one. I had no plans on getting it on release but a friend of mine has been hinting at "Lightning striking in December" to me, and they work at GS...

Well LR is not in the list yet, as it's not even out yet, but if you wish to replay the two XIII games just vote and say the word. I remember you telling that you wish a Final Fantasy VIII replay. If you still do, vote for that too. Azuardo already did.


And I suggest anyone who wants to replay Final Fantasy X/X-2 to hold their horses until the HD is out! I would definitely want to participate on this one. And I wish most of us who will buy it, they would want to join in. I'm really thrilled!

The only problem is that I can't edit the poll thing... If someone has voted and later wants to play the next game he/she just has to comment here only... I wish that could be fixed somehow...

EDIT: Plus, new games cannot be added in the poll... I guess for them a new poll will be created later...

I think I'll just vote for all of them even though I can only play XIII-2. I just want to see the other games played, you know?

So, since 3 or more people have voted for VIII, are people good to start a topic for it? @Tsukiyomi was gonna do it, right? I'll probably be keeping a much steadier pace than I did with IX, because I've got some other games on the go.

Seems to me the only ones that doesn't have enough votes right now are XIII and XIII-2. That means, if I voted for XIII and XIII-2, and so did Leon, then the only one who's shown a distinct interest in them that didn't vote for it is Sapientia. Also, just a suggestion, but we could do this with the Kingdom Hearts games over in the Kingdom Hearts Discussion.

Congrats! We obviously have 2 clear winners, Final Fantasy VIII and XII. As I can see the rest of the games have collected the votes. (XIII saga too, as Sapientia will be "in charge" of it).

Now, if you want me to create both the VIII and the XII thread just say the word. Plus, anyone who has showed interest on all the above games and is ready to start (at least 3 people should be able to play to get this started) just comment on this thread, and his name will be added in the welcoming title of the respective new thread.

PS: I hope you all agree on the "3 people should be able to start playing so that the new thread is created" thing. I think it would be a bit unfair if one person starts playing alone while the rest start later, don't you think?

That's actually a very nice idea! And it would be a success when KH 2.5 is released, as KH 1.5 was bought and played by many people here...

Well, I can't play any of these games but XIII-2, so I suppose that shows my priority. Can't play XIII because I traded in my copy.

I hope I am not too late to join in. I voted for Final Fantasy XII, but I also would not mind playing Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2 because I also like those a lot. And I want to play them before Lightning Returns comes out, but whatever wins is great.

I'll update this post as we get more people signing up. I think actually post-voting works better to get an indication of who really is up for playing, so as soon as a game gets 3 people, the relevant thread can be made.
