Ah, cool. It seems that the main quest is exactly what was advertised though. Shame because I was hoping to meet and fight along side older Cidney, Iris, and Aranea. The side content sounds dense and interesting.

That's only the cure for insomnia questline. There are other questlines in the final chapter now too.

Getting the new regalia is one of them, but we don't know what we use the regalia for atm.

It's possible that there are other hidden quests not shown by the datamine

Edit:
Here are some we know of:

1.A Gift from Cid - we can assume this is getting the new regalia

2. Glaive out of Time
3. Crown City Without a King

And we know this one thanks to @Storm:
4. Relics of the Empire

Though the Niflheim Empire fell more than a decade ago, remnants of its infantry have set up camp in Insomnia and stayed there to this day. With Cor's aid, Noctis and his royal retinue now aim to kick the empire out of the Crown City for good. Speak to Josef. Destroy the imperial bases. Destroy the imperial bases (0/3). Destroy the imperial bases (1/3). Destroy the imperial bases (2/3). Report back to Josef.

Relics of the Empire: First Base

Noctis must eliminate all imperial enemies from the base without being detected. Warp-kill imperial soldiers (0/5). Warp-kill imperial soldiers (1/5). Warp-kill imperial soldiers (2/5). Warp-kill imperial soldiers (3/5). Warp-kill imperial soldiers (4/5). Wipe out the imperial forces.

Relics of the Empire: Second Base

With Cor's assistance, Noctis must eliminate all imperial enemies from the base. Wipe out the imperial forces. Head to the destination. Wipe out the imperial forces.

Relics of the Empire: Third Base

Noctis must eliminate all imperial enemies from the base within the allotted time. Take out the watchmen within the time limit (0/4). Take out the watchmen within the time limit (1/4). Take out the watchmen within the time limit (2/4). Take out the watchmen within the time limit (3/4). Wipe out the imperial forces within the time limit. Head to the specified area. Take out the watchmen within the time limit (0/4). Take out the watchmen within the time limit (1/4). Take out the watchmen within the time limit (2/4). Take out the watchmen within the time limit (3/4). Wipe out the imperial forces within the time limit.

Are we sure those are for Chapter 14? Thought they were Comrades stuff. If not, they sound pretty exciting.

I think we can at the very least rule old Cidney out since Talcot is the one maintaining your car.

Nope they are for chapter 14. They are under GOTY files in the datamine, I've seen them myself.

Wouldn't get too excited though, its possible they are exploration/fetch quests, but nonetheless, new quests!

You know the thing that still bugs me about Ifrit. Though mitigated with the bits of expanded lore post-release, he still feels like XV's equivalent of Necron and Cloud of Darkness; a shoehorned extra boss out of left field to add spectacle.

For other equivalent bosses, there's a bit more flair; even Zemus has a little build-up, Yu Yevon is a wonderful pay-off in X's world, and Orphan is just such a great showstopper with lines to match. They all have what Ifrit didn't; backstory and dialogue.

And yeah, the most exciting things so far with this are Talcott giving you a new Regalia and Luna
being a party member

We don' know the extent of either, but the idea that Talcott repairs your car when you damage it at least leads me to believe that you have to be able to explore something with the car in the WoR. I can see you traveling to insomnia with it, but that would be odd that he could still repair it. Hopefully it's both tbh

Whether or not this quest remains to be part of the march update (free) or the Royal Update (paid) remains to be seen, as I feel like there have to be other quests when you get it. And hopefully some Iris, Aranea, and Cidney to some extent.

I wouldn't mind some more things with Ifrit, but I'm fine with the info the Chapter 12 update brought, as I wanted that in the game, especially since I really like FFXV's Ifrit and his role in the lore as 'The Betrayer', and seeing his lore in that strategy guide, and when the survey in 1.10, I had to choose between Ardyn's Past and Ifrit's Betrayal, and it was a hard choice, but I voted for Ifrit's Betrayal, and by September or so in 1.16, I got it, and Arydn won the survey, so I won two things in one stone. But I wouldn't mind having more lore about Ifrit, that would be welcome.

Yeah, chapter 12 definitely helped it a bit with Shiva's new dialogue, BUT he needs more exposition.

I'm half hoping/half banking on Episode Ardyn to partially focus on his resurrection and Shiva's fate (and maybe he could even be a summon for Ardyn in the DLC?)

Glaive out of Time quest is related to cindy, but it seems you don't end up personally meeting her.

anyway she's not a fighter, but i would at least expect Iris helping in insomnia (plus she's the most requested older character), but if nothing was found about her...
Yeah, the only things I did find was her having new battle dialogue and with Cross chains (apparently she can be a part of one now), but no actual story dialogue.

Who knows, it's possible not everything was implemented or some things, like getting a new Regalia, can be expanded upon in a future update to let us visit Lestallum and see Iris, Aranea and Cidney.

Tl;dr: if not now, maybe later?

Those files, like zaza said, the content was labeled 'GOTY', which was one of the labels of the RE/Royal Pack DLC content, and the older cast in the car dialogue in the 1.21 patch.

Definitely, which is why I have hope that her dialogue, along with Aranea, are somehow related to Chapter 14 and not just random dialogues added to other chapters.

It's entirely possible not every single piece of dialogue or new content feature is in the files. I mean, it's from a benchmark lol so its actually best to assume that.

We'll see what happens with all of this on March 6th, in sixteen days, and I'm already feeling overwhelmed, and it's nice to be able to see this somehow, as I had questions in my head about what the Royal Pack DLC exactly had, and I feel there's a lot of content in there.

Edit:

@Paperchampion23 Did the Replica Regalia have 'GOTY' or 'Royal' in it's file?

I think you'll use the new Regalia to traverse inside Insomnia. I don't think they're making the WoR playable at all.
Don't get me wrong, either option would be fucking awesome. Your point would mean insomnia has to be THAT much bigger for car travel, and the other point would mean that the WoR finally has a presence in the game (even if its small to an extent).

One of these has to give I think, as Talcott replairing the car has got to mean some form of exploration. So I'm pretty damn excited looking ahead to this

When compiled, the Royal Pack DLC contains:

Expanded Insomnia City Ruins (Side Content: Relics of The Empire, etc, and need keys to get around in the city.)
Armiger Unleashed
Royal Vessel
Replica Regalia
Lore Archive
New Bosses (Cerberus, Kings of The Fierce and Mystic, and Queen of The Rogue, and Omega)

Edit

@Paperchampion23 Does the Replica Regalia also have 'GOTY', too? If so, then it's coming into the Royal Pack DLC.

Unless "Ifrits betrayal" from the survey counts as the chapter 12 update, then didn't the dialouge from Shiva already laid down his general story? Or am i missing something?

if anyone curious about how much dialogue was added on patch 1.21 (source: thelifestream.net)

https://pastebin.com/Wp9u6WGe

Man, was that a good Cross Chain or what?
A job well done, indeed.
Gladio: Are you seriously trying to make that a thing?

Another Cross Chain complete.
Gladio: Seriously, Iggy?

Noct! Use your magic to take them out!
Oh! And could you watch where you're aiming?
lol
