I'll add my piece of feedback on the gameplay side.

To Dan Seto & Business Division 2:

-Add Hard mode:

Cut down all item stocks to 5 or less (while giving the bros their own set of item stocks via tactics quick menu so that they won't share with Noctis'), the game is way too forgiving with curatives & phoenix downs, which is one of the things that make the main game too easy for a lot of players who want rewarding challenge. I also feel that his would be a beneficial opportunity to fine tune the balance around the combat in general for hard mode itself, such as increasing MP cost on Warp Strikes to decrease constant spamming, increasing MP cost on phasing since the current penality of losing MP from it is nullified with Ascension nodes that minimize the MP cost penalty of phasing itself (thus leading to overuse), nerfing the Ring Magic's Alterna so that it won't kill endgame/post-game difficulty due to it's current nature of one-shotting almost everything instead of being a properly balanced risk/reward tool.

A nerf that cuts full MP gains in half or more when using Point-Warps would also work really well to minimize constant Warp Strike & Alterna spamming in order to have players use other resources more to gain MP. I also feel that Magitek Exosuits & Ragnorok should be unlocked much later in the game through side quests instead of being instantly obtained from the start, due to one of them further killing any sort of difficulty early game in an already easy game & the other encouraging repetitive warp strike spamming with Noctis among players, which shouldn't be a thing with an ideal Hard Mode.

I understand that the Japanese audience for FFXV found the difficulty 'just right' from the official survey last year and thats totally fine, but i feel that it ignores how the western audience felt in which normal mode as is doesn't provide enough challenge even with the Nixperience band. I really do think our voices deserve to be considered in this aspect of potential gameplay additions, its a feature that has been requested a lot in several places since post-release of FFXV.

Expand Airstep/Death Drop/Airdance with Royal Arms:

Airstepping in general is such an awesome tool that is sadly only usable with one-handed Swords & Polearms, the Royal Arms should gain the ability to use it too for greater aerial combat utilization. I'd go as far as saying that this could apply for almost all other weapon category in Noctis' toolset too.

Add an Ascension grid for Prompto, Ignis, & Gladiolus after unlocking character swap:

While i'm happy that we finally get to directly control the rest of the bros during combat, i feel that they need Ascension nodes for the majority of their techniques & skills. Currently they outclass Noctis early game due to all of their abilities being handed to them very early on right after unlocking the bros to directly control them in combat, which makes the early & middle portion of the game even more of a cake walk than before. Which is why i believe that Prompto, Ignis, and Gladio should have their techniques, damage bar, and skills tied to Ascension nodes which will encourage natural progression with players required to earn enough AP to unlock each of them. The bros themselves are perfectly fine to access as playable chararcters for combat from the very beginning, just that they should require a proper skill tree when directly playing them like Noctis already has.

Implement a much more improved Magic system for the main game:

As it is, Comrades' Magic system is the more popular one for many people compared to the main game's. Thanks to the addition of magic being tied to weapons, having more variety with spells & how casting is executed, and being MP-based without taking up a weapon slot, unlike the main game's Magic system which despite inpressive visuals feels tedious due to having to constantly craft magic through a menu with flasks after drawing them from tubes. A more streamlined approach for Magic in the main game that removes he tedium entirely while having similar execution to Comrades with casting spells would be a much more preferrable solution.

Make objects, bushes, and trees transparent for the Camera during combat:

The Camera right now faces instances where the stuff i highlighted above can obstruct the player's view when fighting against enemies. Even with the options to adjust camera distance it still doesn't entirely eleminate the issues of bushes, trees, and other objects blocking your view in combat, this has been a heavily criticized issue since day one of the release of the game, and a future patch adressing this flaw would be a massive help. Real time Action games demand having the playable character visible for the player the majority of the time, and i believe that FFXV as great as it is, deserves to not be excluded from that.

Add an additional rare item that can only be obtained in chapter 15 to craft the Ultima Weapon with Cid:

Many players right now are able to obtain the Ultima Weapon really early on chapter 3, which is something that i think should be saved for post-game via chapter 15 due to how powerful the weapon itself is, as it feels much less rewarding to cheat and get it that early as is.

To Dan Seto:

I appreciate that you're taking your time to look at this community in regards to feed-back/future content for Final Fantasy XV, many of us, myself included, felt the game is lacking in several areas, many of which were addressed/will be addressed, but there are things that could make the entire experience more meaningful and satisfying. For example, have a look at this, this could help make the game feel more satisfying.:

A More Open Niflheim When the game first came out in 2016, many of us, myself included, were looking forward to exploring Niflheim, but when we got to the second half, we couldn't even explore Cartanica or any of the imperial territories. I understand why the second half is linear, and I actually prefer the second half over the first half, but that really disappointed many of your fans, but there is a way to tackle this issue; give us a portion of Cartanica and Gralea, we're not asking for an open-world in Niflheim, but rather some explorable areas in Niflheim, you could give us the area below the train station in Cartanica, the main town area, to allow us to explore Cartanica, an area that we glitched out of bounds into back last year, and it's a beautiful area, one we wished was explorable, while keeping the sense of linearity, and it could be an opportunity for world-building for Niflheim in Cartanica, as well as fleshing out the transition from the train station to Fodina Caestino. You announced that you're doing an Episode: Aranea, and I'm excited about it, as well as Episode: Ardyn, and since it's set in the Niflheim Empire's downfall, allow us to explore a decent portion of Gralea in Episode: Aranea, the capital of Niflheim was massively under-used in the main game, and was nothing but a back-drop in Chapter 13, and many fans were very disappointed that they couldn't explore it, since you're doing Episode: Aranea, please do Gralea some justice and allow us to explore it.

I know it may not be 100% guaranteed, but I appreciate you reading this, and I hope that Ardyn and Aranea's Episodes' main routes are canon to the main story, it would be very disappointing to me if it was entirely alternative, I hope you address this at some point whether the new DLCs are canon to the main story or not. Again, I thank you for taking your time.

Since everyone is already giving feedback on the things they want addressed story wise I'm also gonna add in that I want gameplay wise aka a better magic system for Noctis. One where maybe he can freely cast his gathered elemental energy without having to bottle it up. To make it more intuitive in combat it could be mapped to the left trigger button which is currently never in use during combat unless the summon prompt comes up which is not all that frequent or when you're pressing it in conjunction with another button for character swap. It would be cool if pressing left trigger on it's own normally in combat were to bring up a magic wheel in place of the weapon wheel from where you can then select one of your 3 gathered elemental magic supplies using the d-pad. Pressing circle along with left trigger would then fire off the element you have selected and maybe pressing triangle could unleash a special move with the magic? Either way it would be nice to have more options regarding magic for Noct.

Other than that story wise all I would really like to see added is more ties to Kingsglaive like maybe a daemon Glauca boss fight somewhere in the new Insomnia, some more acknowledgement of Nyx (to really give his appearance in the throne room some more weight to Noctis), and also perhaps some more acknowledgement of Clarus as it seems he doesn't get much love. Chapter 5 could also use a Ravus boss fight to really sell the animosity between Noctis and Ravus as rivals (I would honestly be fine with Ravus' boss fight from Episode Ignis being copy and pasted here with a few minor adjustments to fit Noct), after that just a bit of a smoother transition from Chapter 9 into Chapter 10 so Gladio's outburst doesn't seem so sudden.

As for the upcoming DLCs I think most people are hoping Aranea will give us more of Gralea than what we got in the main game and that we'll get to see more of Tennebrae and the attack on it through her as well. I'm sure Episode Ardyn will give us good insight into past Lucis and all its differences compared to present Lucis as well.

Anyways although it may not be guaranteed I appreciate you checking out the feedback on this forum if you do get around to it Mr. Seto.

The only ones who want alternative endings are SE themselves. The fans know exactly what they want and have been very vocal about it for a long time. I've spent literally thousands of dollars on everything Final Fantasy, games, dlc, over 20 kai arts and almost every collectors edition that's been released. I'm a final fantasy freak! Even have Final Fantasy tattoos haha. BUT I won't buy any alternative ending stuff for Final Fantasy XV. I'll buy it if it's like Ignis' episode where you have the choice of canon or a crappy stupid ending, but not 100% alternative. Heck I already own 4 copies of this damn game (one being the ultimate collectors) as well 2 season passes + two royal packs. Even with all that I "was" planning on buying the 4 dlc packs + a game of the year copy if it released. At the moment I'll be not spending anymore money on the game until we get some more promising details.

IMO:

1) Translucent objects between characters and camera. (AKA: Action games 101)

2) Insomnia prologue. Let us become attached to the city and the normal life Noctis and co. lose when Insomnia falls.

3) More Regis in general. He is an important figure in Noctis’ journey. Makes us care about him.

4) Add important Kingslaive plot points. If they don’t feel like making it a gameplay sequence, at least incorporate the important scenes right before Noctis finds out about it in the newspaper. By that I mean proper, extended scenes. With sound. Not the weird, shoehorned montage that is in the game and that makes no sense at all for people who haven’t seen the movie.

5) Expanded Niflheim so it doesn’t suddenly feel like they run out of time/resources for the second half of the game. And no, it doesn’t have to be as big as Lucis. They can even connect the snowy area in Ep. Prompto to the area where Shiva is so they don’t have to build so many new assets.

6) More Luna in the CANON storyline. She barely gets any screentime before she dies. Make us care about her beforehand so her death has actual meaning to the player.

7) Anything for Clarus would be welcome. He is an important figure in the lives of 2 important characters (heck, 4 if you count Jared and Talcott), but Iris prefers to go on a cheerful date with Noctis instead of dealing with her loss.

7) Keep alternative storyline stuff to the absolute minimum. Please!

Yeah, at Barcelona Games World, he seem's a nice guy, but he doesn't speak spanish or english, so i just told him "hi", "Photo please?" and "thank you very much".
But i made sure to assault the translator and ask him a lot of things (before the game was launch).
We appreciate you reaching out to Dan Seto to check this site for feed-back, I hope he saw our feed-back, even if it can't get guaranteed.

Just imagine, an Ep Noctis that instead of being a happy ending, is all about a happy beginning.
that would be amazing, it would end in a happy note but with a hint of sadness because the player already knows the tragic ending.

it would transmit this feeling of "the journey is just beginning again"

To be honest I would be down to have an extra mode in Episode Noctis that gives you an Insomnia tour. Each of the previous episodes has had some sort of special extra mode tailored to each of the bros so I say if nothing else give me a special extra mode for Noctis where where he can just go about his life. Call it "A Day in Insomnia." It would kinda justify the main portion being fully alternative if that's the case. At least for me personally.

Noctis DLC has so much potential:
-childhood playable segments
-his injury elaboration
-his relation with Regis
-pre invasion Insomnia
-world of versus inside the crystal
-more about him and Luna

But instead we get alternative ending :v
They can even show Jared in Insomnia so the player can get an idea of who the hell he is before all the questionable mid-game plot points go down, haha.

I'm hoping if nothing else that those things are included as extra goodies in the in his episode. I'm trying to think of how they could still include that stuff even if they ultimately decide to focus on the alternative stuff for the most part. It would be kinda awesome if they included a sort of playable gallery of Noctis' memories regarding Regis, Insomnia, and some other background things like maybe his warp training. They could even include Nyx that way since he was apparently great at it even by royalty standards.

2) IMO, this is not needed, the city itself was never important for Noctis character.

4) The montage has most of the most important plot points from the game (sans Luna having the Ring) before and after the montage happens you are given tidbits about the politics, making the scene make sense.

5) I will repeat myself here, there's no intrinsical need for this to be added from the perspective of either the narrative or plot needing them to be functional. Wanting to add more just to meet a lenght and content checklist is not an argument I find to hold substance.

6) I think this part of the story is misunderstood and misread, you shouldn't care about Luna because of her character but because of what she means to Noctis, an example that comes to my head the relation between Wander and Mono from Shadow of The Colossus.
The core of the story is about Wander wanting to bring back Mono to life via making a deal with the "Devil". For the entirety of the game we never know or see Mono as a character or she is characterized, heck for the entirety of the game you never hear her talk, not even after she's revived, or why she's so important for our MC that he'll take on a task to slay Colossis for her revival. However, that's not important and it's not why their relation is emotional, it's emotional because the MC holds Mono to such importance that he will take on the task of slaying colossal monsters to be finally reunited and it hits hard when their ideal reunion never happens.

While the framing of Noctis and Luna is not the same as Wander and Mono it, broadly speaking, holds the same intention. It's important and emotional because both look forward to be finally reunited after a long separation to fullfil their childhood promise (mainly Noctis) and respective calling and duties (mainly Luna) and after both go through personal struggles (Noctis not being quite ready to accept head on the duties of King and Luna pain of not being able to share her life with him as she dreamed) and other obstacles and finally both are in Altissia, their relation is made more emotional when all goes south as Luna loses her life and Noctis was unable to keep their promise. The relation reaches a new emotional peak when Noctis and Luna finally have their longed reunion after lots of struggles and pain, which unfortunately was only possible because of the death of both.
