Songs. Here
around the 2:40 mark and for the Apocalysis variant. And around the 3:30 mark for the summoning song variant. Listen to the end of the latter one at 5:00 and you'll notice a distinct similarity to Ardyn's theme.
The version of Apcalypsis Noctis used at the 2:40 mark there is the version that plays in Royal Edition when Luna summons Ramuh, Shiva, Titan, Leviathan and Bahamut, called "Advent of the Apocolypse".

And the track that plays at 3:30 is a new version of Nox Divina from Episode Ignis when Ignis is on the boat driving towards Titan to get to Noctis. Called "Clash on the Waves"

That guy is just using different songs in his vids, not stuff that is from Episode Ardyn, like in that video the song at the very start is Premonition from FF8.

It's been a while since I've posted, but what are the new skippable cutscenes that were added to Chapter 3 to allow them to be skipped thanks to this patch?
still havent heard anything about it, really

so weird they didnt include the option to change the background theme on the main game as well.

for a 3.5gb patch it feels like this accomplished little.

That's probably why there's some hidden stuff added. There's no why what they did would have taken up 3.5g

apparently they also released a minor patch for comrades.

edit:

from pc store description:

"Chapter 3 Behemoth Quest: Added the option to skip the chase scene after failing"
What was the Comrades patch about? The Dead-Eye quest got the update? Huh, I wonder why.

Edit:

This was also found on the Steam page.:

Chapter 3 Greyshire Grotto: Tweaked the parking spot and interaction range to give players more guidance

Edit 2:

Gamefaqs had the Comrades patch here.:

| Comrades 1.2.1 |

New Features

* Addition of the Thanatos' Bow to the base shop in Lestallum. It will appear when you receive the Piercing Bow.
* Addition of the Regis' eyebrows to a shop at Cape Caem.
* Addition of a steam cleaner to Cape Caem to remove dirt from your avatar.

Adjustments

* Adjustment to the location of Vyv (photo viewing and saving) at Cape Caem. He is now closer to Monica.
* Adjustment to the "Returning to Camp" location after failing the "The Pyreburner's Trial." You will now be returned to Lestallum rather than the Title Menu.

Bug Fixes

* The Top Speed of a chocobo required to unlock a transmission route will now display correctly.
* The Blood Horn will now break in the quest "Drenched in Blood."
* People will no longer disappear at Meldacio Hunter HQ.

I tried to make a weapon in the mod organizer but I cannot make heads or tails of what I'm doing wrong lmao I'm not very familiar with this stuff though so I guess I'll wait to see what the pros come up with

Darn it! They added a lot of weapons variation and models for Comrades and leave the main game with clone models of weapons. Since i'm not really invested in Comrades, this thing really does pissed me off.. Hmmm~

Edit : Console player's agony XD

Now hopefully they'll share how they accomplished this :)

It seems this is the only person with an understanding of how to actually swap / make new costumes - hopefully they will be forthcoming in their methods, for the good of the mod community. I haven't seen anyone else figure out how to convert the official textures, reassign them, and work with / adjust the bones.
