  • Dissidia Arcade will release worldwide on PS4 as Dissidia NT in 2018. With scenario by Nojima, and featuring Noctis.
Steve Burton possibly confirmed back for Cloud. Good, can't think of another English voice for our favourite stoic mercenary.

Wasn't that already confirmed in the PSX 2015 trailer?

Could have been a sound-a-like. It's still news, and from Burton's own mouth. It could also be for KH3, or something else. Don't know, but it's still exciting.
I hope Vivendi is brought down by the law. That could be the only thing that saves Ubisoft from hostile takeover and heart removal.

Thanks for letting me know about this SonOfEtro. This certainly is a bullying situation.
Took the plunge. Got physical The Last Remnant on PC. Apparently better than the 360 version. We'll see.

@T.O.T , if it don't, it's not a huge loss. Got it at less than a quarter of its original price. If nothing else, it's a curiosity. And I'll be playing with JP VOs so the main putting-off factor from any footage I've seen's been dealt with. If all goes well, planning Type-0 or Val Chronicles next.

Finally upgrading my PC a little so it can handle newer titles.

It runs my present games well enough It's just lacking some graphical umph and RAM space. Bayonetta needs 4 GB. With the upgrade, I'll have seven to play with, which is more than enough for my current needs. Who knows, I might even try running Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen. But I really need a game with a story that can either enchant me or just overwhelm me with its awesome insanity, so DDDA might be out.

@Lulcielid: I remember that feeling. When I had TR Underworld for the first time - even on lowest settings it generally chugged at single-digit FPS on the old family XP. It broke my heart - having played Legend and Anniversary I'd bought it new around its release, and now it was next to unplayable! It's fine on my current machine. I remember my first time in a sunlit, proper-speed Thailand - pure magic.
Looking forward to E3 this year. Wondering what they'll be showing that it's bland shooters and predictable exclusives.
Bayonetta on PC from today. The world has shifted realities, but I don't care.

@T.O.T As a ps3 owner myself, the myriad of performance issues within the Bayonetta port makes me gloomy to see people face them on their first experience of one of the GOAT action games.

@Nova So the Xbox 360 version ran that much better huh? If so, that wouldn't surprise me. I recall seeing a performance review that overall seemed to have tipped in the 360 version's favor.
Persona 5 becomes Atlus' first title to reach #1 in UK game charts. P5's debut beat XV's debut to #1, and is first there since Ni No Kuni!

P5 was had no inmediate competion in its release window though. Regardless, good to see japanese games being on top of charts.
Hey, big news. Yesterday, SQEX lost both artist Kamikokuryo and producer Yamagishi. Both resigned, and it's only broken today.
Another April Fools day. Another opportunity for us to be screwed with for laughs. Hey ho, at least it's not E3 time yet.
Essentially a week's holiday upcoming. Weird for me. I'll still keep an eye on SQEX news.
As can be seen from my new profile image, I'm really looking forward to Nier Automata. I'll be keeping a weather eye on the JP release.
