That's because both are Romance languages, It has its origin from Latin, vulgar Latin. That's why Spanish, Italian, French, Rumanian, Portuguese etc sounds alike. That's also why Latin America has that name, too!

It's mind boggling that even after gathering that data, they keep delivering the least liked updates and few of the most wanted ones.

I'm really happy they did this. There was a part in the trailer at TGS that looked like you are able to switch between Sarah or Noctis out of battle. It might be a hint for a later patch where the Ignis, Gladio, and Prompto could be fully playable.

I think for PS4 they will do the update at 11am EST or later in the day like they have done for the rest of the patches. Everyone else usually gets it earlier.

edit: nevermind. I'm really surprised, they never upload early.
