They need to upgrade their video player as well. They've been using it for years. I have to wait for it to appear on YouTube. The adds freeze, and the player just can't keep up with the images sometimes. I have to take it down to the lowest quality sometimes just to get a video to finish.

I've been guilty of mentioning uncalled for negativity from other sites and board on this forum but for these next few days before the game comes out how about we don't post the toxic shit or mention any of that stuff coming from other places other than here?
I know it can be frustrating sometimes but just ignore it. Avoid the site altogether for now.

So I just got a shipping confirmation e-mail from the European Square Enix store that my ultimate edition is on its way (with a tracking code and everything). Seems like some of us Europeans might be lucky enough to play the game before the weekend?!

I am staying away from most FF XV related stuff, other than discussions and topics that are spoiler free. I already know too much about the game at this point. Even if I tried my best to stay away from anything that's story related. I want to get into the game as blind as is possible for someone who followed the production for all these 10 years (-___-).
There's always going to be negativity towards games we like. But I don't want the negativity some people have towards the game influence my judgment. I've played all the demos released so far, including Judgment Disc, and so far, I am confident in the game's ability to deliver. If it ends up good or not, will be based on my analysis alone.
In the end, not everyone looks for the same things in a FF game. The story and gameplay could resonate well for some, and fall flat for others. FF VIII is one of the good examples of that. Many people didn't like the Junction system and the melodramatic and convoluted story. I personally liked it a lot, and think FF XV will be met with the same kind of divisiveness.

So how many of you lot actually going to avoid watching/reading the reviews once the embargo lifts?
I'm not going anywhere near the reviews myself! In fact, I won't be online at all on the 28th or once I get hint of the reviews hitting Internetz. All I have to see is 'First Review of....' and I'll have a knee jerk reaction, throwing my phone across the room or end up ripping the power cord out of my PC xD

As long as you don't judge games by their meta score that should be fine

One of the more skeptical of my friends saw the FFXV 101 trailer. He thought he's grown out of FF and 'Japanese style' games. After watching the trailer he is now very much considering getting the game. Must of been a very well made and detailed trailer

First impressions - this looks damned good, even on OG PS4. The gameplay is quite intuitive so far. There's not a whole lot going on at the moment, but the character-building is well done, even if the voice acting is a bit spotty.
