Actually, in response to this cost-to-performance argument, consoles by far has the best ratio. And this is coming from a person who owns a $5000 self built pc and a PS4Pro.

Let's go over the specifics.

Technically speaking, you cannot build a brand new $300 PC (price considering the PS4) and expect to play games as it is. Custom built PC's obviously don't come with all the peripherals, however pre built pc's do but you won't find a $300 PC going there and you will be essentially paying more anyways than you would from a custom built pc. However, a console comes as is with everything it needs. Though one may argue that neither comes with the TV/monitor. But in this age, most people have TV's in their homes, but not monitors.
So in most cases, once you buy a console, that's pretty much it, all you have to do is plug and play. But PC's require the additional purchase of a mouse, keyboard, speakers and monitor on top of the actual hardware. A decent 1080p monitor will shill you back around $100, and you can try skimp out on the keyboard and mouse by buying some cheap Chinese knockoffs, which may or may not break after a week or two. A decent set suitable for gaming will set you back another $50 (and this is being lenient). Speaker, again another $50 or so. Then we have the mother of all PC related issues, the OS. This will either set you back over another $100 or it may rob you of your dignity. You may even purchase a console controller for them steam games later on.

Oh wait... it's $300 even before you buy the actual PC. Not to mention that you will have to throw at least $180 for a decent graphics card and another $100 or so for a decent SSD or HDD . Though one may try to get everything second hand, which could reduce costs to a fraction, but you lose all support if shit goes down the drain.

The argument that PC's are more powerful than consoles is no argument as it is painfully obvious. However the argument that PC gaming can be as cheap consoles is also no-win debate for PC's. Just enjoy one or the other, or both if you have the money.

Use a TV for your PC
Why would you need speakers, or a monitor I don't have a speaker I just use my TV
Also are we forgetting PSN Plus?
Console game prices?

PC gaming on a TV... unless you are okay with input lag. Go ahead.

Also, PSN Plus isn't a necessity. I haven&t subscribed to it at all for the last 2 years.

Game prices? Like you don't need to buy games on the PC? Oh that's right, everyone sells their dignity nowadays to pirate games. AAA titles, whether it's on PC or consoles, costs relatively the same. Steam may have more year round sales than console games, but you can buy second hand console games for the fraction of the price. So the argument here about console games being more expensive is kinda moot.

Let me deal with each point.
1. You get input lag on consoles as well, hell it's worse on consoles, we were talking about price

2. No PC Game prices dip much earlier than consoles, hell on launch you could get Doom 2016 for 30 bucks, hell if you go to G2A you can find some deluxe keys for Resident Evil 7 for http://www.dlgamer.us/download-resident_evil_7_deluxe-pc_games-p-39347.html 61 USD the price of the regular game, before it's released, and let's not forget those Steamy summer sales PRAISE GABEN. Also I'm talking about new games, not used games that can have wear and tear, and also don't help the developer, a pirate is most likely going to buy a game new to help the developer out than a consumer who buys things used(Understandably so, money is a limited resource, so it's redundant to buy games twice) While you may say that, but if It was bought used it was once new, thing is developers when it comes to consoles rely on new volume sales to make their money back, due to the cost of manufacturing physical copies of a game.

3. PSN Plus while isn't a necessity to enjoy your PS4, it's a necessity to get the full functionality of the system as well as your games that contain multiplayer, for example Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered, if you want to play that game you must, when I say add the cost of PSN Plus it's about making your PS4 fully functional which is why it's only fair to add it in, especially if a multiplayer game changes your mind.

1. That's not the point. Console games are made to play on TV's. While PC games are made with the use of PC monitors in mind. Input delay is much more important for PC games than console games. Specially if you play FPS games. TV's in general are much cheaper than PC monitors, but people still use actual monitors for gaming than TV's and there is a reason for that.
2. You may have a point there, but at the end of the day, games cost money. Whether you buy used or new. Used games have have scratches here and there, but new copies also has the chance of being a dud/bugged as well. And since you are moral about supporting developers, I will assume you will buy everything brand new. Including the PC OS.
3. Even if you do add PSN Plus, that's only a $50 plus each year, in which you get free games every month and discounts. So it pays some of the costs by itself.

All that said, at the end of the day, no matter how much you argue, PC gaming will never be cheaper than console gaming.

3. Those games aren't free if you have to pay 50 to 60 bucks per year for them, and those games you could probably get for 20-30 bucks on Steam, and keep them forever, and discounts are not tied to a paid service either.
1. You can still use a TV to play PC Games though, we just have the option to decrease the input delay which is using an actual monitor it's called having options which consoles lack, games are still playable if not more playable than the consoles due to a higher framerate in general.
2. For me it's not about morality if I don't support games then developers won't make more of the games I like, I don't really care about Microsoft's OS that stuff can be bought for cheap on other sites, or cracked, but I very much care for games.

"
PC games are so much cheaper that they alone can allow even a high-end PC to undercut a console within a single year
All year round, PC games are being sold at extreme discounts thanks to Good Old Games, Humble Bundles and Steam sales. Even brand new titles that have yet to be released can occasionally get a pre-order discount or otherwise drop below the traditional console release price of $59.99. There's also the occasional franchise or "studio" bundles that can save you around 25-50%. Summer and winter Steam sales offer the largest discounts, with single titles going as much as 75% off with entire franchises and bundle discounts stacking onto the discount Valve already added to it. Yes, it's true that you may sometimes get games that you don't want from a bundle, but you have to be trying pretty hard when you try to label that as a disadvantage. The games are yours forever, and there's a pretty good chance that someone may want to "borrow" it from you and try it out even if you don't. Over the course of 3-4 years, some people have saved over $3000 by using Steam. All those discounts, and developers still earn more on the PC."

One of the strange complaints I've seen is people saying "Why aren't the team working on the story updates but are doing DLC nonsense? Fix the story dammit!"

If they did their research, they would know that different teams are working on different things =/

Read a couple of people displeased about the upcoming Carnival because they thought the team stopped working on the story updates because of it... *sigh*

I just noticed in many FFXV youtube related videos some uninformed people already discussing alternative endings that TBT "promised" to them. On scale from 0 to 10, how much these people will be angry\dissapointed?

I saw one video where it was like... ALTERNATIVE ENDINGS CONFIRMED!

Then people were quick to point out the mistakes and the uploader was quick to cover their tracks by saying "oh it's non canon" and "the message is vague", trying to justify the video...

This is why I started translating back in FFXV, so I could prevent as much of this nonsense as best I could. And well, guess I was just a needle in the cactuar.

If you want an alternate ending, just summon Titan in Insomnia, watch him break apart a city block, throw it at you and blow up the whole city. Then turn it off after the explosion. Boom! Surprise twist ending, Titan was working with Ardyn all along! And he does not give a fuck.

... I dunno how people do it... where the heck do they come up with this stuff?

Delusional and stupidity of the highest order. Of course some people will take it as fact and then spread it around like wildfire *smh*

Ask Illazy where did he find information about Leviathan battle back to august i guess. He literally though that Leviathan fight is multi-staged few hours battle, where you have to froze the sea with Shiva to actually fight Leviathan, and he spread this information around here.
Ask Illazy why he always was trying to pretend that Ifrit is mid-point of the game rather than end-game while Tabata literally said its close to very end by himself.
And you asking why some people get dissapointed, they have unreachable expectations in the first place.

I've heard that Leviathan rumor before -- it came from someone (probably a 4ch someone =P ) who claimed that part of the Leviathan battle was intended to be shown as a TGS demo but got cancelled shortly beforehand due to the delay, or something of the sort. It never seemed particularly reasonable, but it didn't come from nowhere. *shrugs*

The Ifrit thing, on the other hand... I have no idea where that would have come from. XD

I think the Ifrit part is more so referring to how people (gamefaqs in particular) thought the time skip would be a mid-point in the storyline rather than near the end, due to a certain german article that got translated which had someone from S.E. implying so, which could have been an error.

Back to E3 there was Q&A session with Tabata (you guys can find it on youtube), he straigh up said that Insomnia is battlefield very close to the end game, its just a common sense to assume that Ifrit is very end game boss too, since he literally sits in the middle of Insomnia, yet some people was still in denial.

Change the GTX 750 Ti, for an RX 470, and you will beat your PS4 Pro in every single game that gets released, hell I bet you can find a RX 480 pretty cheap nowadays.
